I've held out playing Dwarfs because of this. But then I played a Delves campaign in pretty much the same way: infantry front line and darkshard second line, with little to no cav, and had fun.

New theory is that each opponent you have to defeat in the ME victory conditions will be a playable faction. That means Kislev and Southern Realms.

Delves at least have magic.

It's not that they didn't have enough but several of them are just really cheap recolors. And they're "centerpiece" monster units too. That's just really disappointing.

Kislev is a mix of PLC and Moscow and both of them deployed Cossack and other similar units long before Ukraine existed.
