AC pastebin: pastebin.com/z1bJS9gF Read that if you have any questions. If the pastebin doesn't answer whatever question you may have feel free to ask us in the thread.
Is there any real info about it? some fan project? indie? looking for founding? or is just practice with the unreal engine?
Ian Richardson
Started out as literally just a perfect recreation of Armored Core: For Answer in UE4, FromSoft must have told him to change it, so he slowly changed it into different sorts of gameplay, some of which were much further from AC than that, and at some point deleted all his videos until uploading that today.
Ryan Mitchell
a shame, the visual upgrade could have spark some interest for the games.

How does the Python (the mini railgun) work? Does it just shoot a beam of energy (plasma?) or is there actually a projectile as ammo?
Gabriel Rodriguez
So, like the other railguns, it's an energy weapon. There's a short charge period and it'll fire right after that. You don't have to hold the button to charge, just press the fire button once and it'll do its thing. Mind your lockon because when the shot finally comes out, it'll follow whatever you're locked on to, if anything. If you lose your lock in the charging phase, you've essentially wasted the shot. Unlike the back railguns, the Python is pretty lacking in muzzle velocity, but I suppose that's the price for getting to fire on the move without being in a quad.
But if I'm understanding your question right, it shoots a beam of energy. That is the projectile.
Angel Perez
is a railgun, soo in theory, it shoots a physical bullets, but instead of using gunpowder to make the bullet go flying, it uses a huge ammounts of energy, some science, to make a stationary bullet become a small flying piece of death.
David Rivera
But, a railgun wouldn't make such a huge explosion like in the Last Raven intro with a bullet (unless it hit something explosive).

Did some research and found out a railgun can fire explosives.
Still doesn't explain the beam of energy, though.
Cameron Nguyen
Third gen railguns don't exactly follow our definition of railguns. Because sci-fi and lasers. Fourth and fifth gen are much more accurate with them.
Adrian Martinez
Yeah, same thing with laser blades too. However, I did find out about plasma railguns being theoretical.
