How many people are interested in starting an MMO with me? I'd mainly be looking for a game that's not 100% dead, and has a little more bite than those Aura-online style games that autowalk you to the next fetch quest. Would be biased towards a slightly older game but that's not set in stone.
I'm more partial to leveling style games like Ragnarok Online or Everquest rather than raiding style games like WoW or Widstar. I'm mainly just looking for a rough headcount here, we can vote\bitch about specific game choices later.

Yes and no. You need to search, but too much searching will waste turns and you'll end up starving. Early on it's less important, but traps will still fuck you hard. You have to develop a bit of an intuitive sense.
