So I'm getting 192 player EXP from character storyline battles, notch 3, at the cost of 16, or 12exp per AP. Needless to say, these levels are coming way too quickly.

What is this fabled 20ap/fight battle I keep hearing of? Actually battles, and not flower farming, takes too long and I only have 30 minutes to use up all my AP before work.

Also, how do I unlock more battles? I use Iroha for every fight but her third level is locked. Other characters I use less often but all three levels are unlocked.

Some characters have their character mission story-blocked. Future patches will add them as the story progresses (for reference Iroha second 'level' was blocked weeks ago)

For EXP grinding the 20 ap mission is not the daily mission. It is the Doppel mission which can only be unlocked if you have a 5* meguca with a lv 5 Magia and a doppel. The missions here gives good story exp as well as 6 exp per ap, combined with the 2x exp event totaling 240 exp per 20 ap.
