One idea I've always wondered why they never used was custom teleport locations with the airships. Like you have this ship that is yours and you can send it out wherever. Why not be able to set something like 3 custom locations in Eorzea where you can tp to from the fc house.

You get vit accessories and meld strength and direct hit into them.
