because you can get the pet from killing jad
if you have a stack of fire capes you can use them for deep wilderness bosses or whatever without caring, or sell for tokkul

i guess thats a good point, but that seems very highly unlikely.
besides, if i get pked with a fire cape doesn't it just break? i don't really do much in the wilderness and when i do i usually have an accumulator with me

above level 20 wilderness untradeables are completely lost

demonic gorilla task will take forever and a day, especially with those stats, but you will make a pretty penny even if you have god-awful luck like me and only get ballista pieces instead of zenyte shards

with those stats i suspect you will get 15-25 kills per trip... hope you got a day to set aside

Banking can be a bit annoying, I usually take 12 wines, a tinderbox and a knife. I like to light the first fire for 25points, then fletch my entire inventory and burn for 375, fletch another 5 more and just chill out or burn some regular logs. I have a lot of trouble hitting 500pts using just the regular logs and not fletching

Are zerkers any fun nowadays? I was thinking about making an alt and it's between either that or an ironmeme.

You get more firemaking xp burning regular logs. Here's what I do, no problem getting 500 points each time.
Bring tinderbox, hammer, 2 food, pray redemption.
Light brazier, then run to root and start chopping. Make sure you're in the corner so you take no damage.
Burn logs in brazier, watch out for snow, run away when it's at your position. Make sure you run away if the snow appears over brazier, too.
If you get hit for passive damage, click brazier again, it'll stop your actions.
After inv is empty, chop and repeat.
Make sure to light/fix brazier whenever it needs it, it's easy points.

for most (maybe all) skilling pets it depends on the task you're doing, generally lower level = lower chance

but even ardy course is a very very small chance, youre more likely than not to go all the way to 99 without the pet

I want to kill a single Kalphite Queen on my shitty account, because I foolishly didn't realize that some of the things I built in my POH actually require a kill.

Would it be possible to use a blowpipe (with rune darts, 97 ranged) for both phases, or is melee mandatory for one? I heard that when she prays it only reduces accuracy, making it so you could use the same style the entire kill.
My melee stats and gear kinda suck, I've pretty much only used ranged.

Melee flinch the first phase, range the second phase, can flinch that one too.
You can duo it as long as you do majority damage, too.

Hmm, my melee really does suck (60 attack, 75 str), and I can't afford a dragon warhammer, it's why I was wondering if ranged only is viable.
Unless a dragon scim can work at those stats (keeping in mind I only need one kill, screw efficiency), I guess I might have to wait.

Yeah but if you just need one kill, it's no problem. Have a friend help you with the first phase where you need melee, then you should be fine on phase to with 97 range.

50 is the end goal, wasting time getting a regular butler doesn't seem worth it when I only need to use 800 planks

it is way faster, and you will need to keep going eventually, might as well get the butler now. not like he costs you anything while you aren't using him. and if it's just 800 planks, you wont spend very much on butlers up to 50.

50 was my first stopping point for construction too, since i only wanted an armor stand - trust me, butler is the way to go
