Those are designs from Titan faggot. Look up Titan concept art which was moved to Overwatch and then redesigned completely with a few elements still appearing such as weapon choice or color theme.

Pretty much. Overwatch sprung from one of Titan's pvp modes and they also thought about doing World of Starcraft before settling on Overwatch.

My favorite little thing is how both Reaper and McCree have "haven't i killed you before" voice line. My headcanon is that Reyes ended up being kind of a father figure to McCree and he picked up some phrases\tricks\habits even if he ended up hating Reaper in the end.

They are timing the hero releases to dates their marketing teams gives them. The heroes are often finished 4 months prior to release and just need bugfixing for PTR to generate some hype.

They could drop them faster but then there would be problems with content not coming out as they are focusing this year on OWL and next
