I did a lot of grinding during Magfest too with hosting all my Hards and Magnas. Clearly a mistake was made somewhere.

I get that it can be hard to get a specific primal when you're just rolling, but a primal alone does not make a whale setup. I got a varuna (that I have yet to spend any effort on uncapping) in my first few rolls as a new player. What makes a whale setup is a primal + specific primal items. Uncapping gacha weapons is where they really hose you on the money. If whaling = a single primal, then any F2P magna setup that uses a specific character is a whale setup too.

Any advice on who to use my next Gold Bricks on?

I just finished recruiting my first Eternal (Six) and am trying to decide on what to do next.
Getting Song seems to be a no-brainer but my Light Grid is still very WIP. Quatre and Sarasa are both cute and would fit well into my current lineups, even considering 5*ing one of the two (or should I just wait with the 5* grind and recruit both instead?)

My Fire grid is trash and Wind mediocre at best.

My advice as a newshit rainbow player is to use the gold bricks to recruit eternals to fill gaps in your lineup. Got an element you're going to have to on-element soon but lack SSRs? Get the eternal for that element.

Sure, as a fully F2P player I don't tix period, so they're the same to me. A primal F2P setup is as "whale" as Orchid.

Anyone else in the habit of refreshing every turn, even when soloing? I can't stand watching the slow ass enemy attack/ougi animations anymor

I like Six as much as the next guy but that seems like a waste of gold bars. The only thing that really noticeably affects his performance there is slightly faster ramp-up and the crucial upgrade of 1 turn TA to 2 turn TA. The TA is great and why I'd get the upgrade, but the rest is meh.

Reminder that vira is literally smaller than Naru and most female dorafs.

Are you ignoring the fact that his 3 gives immunity which lets him ignore every ougi that isn't plain damage? It's almost impossible to lose stacks with him at 5* and he has +25% cap up from kirin bow+his 1

I agree.
His upgrade simply let's him do what he does much easier and is largely a QoL imprveoment. But if you're pushing boundaries and just want your dark lineup to be even more powerful then you'll want that upgrade sooner or later regardless.

I think the biggest improvement that 5* Six brings is the invulnerability on 3 turn cooldown. Makes it a lot easier to maintain his stacks.

I'm discounting the survivability stuff, yeah. It's good to have, but I was talking about the worth of a 5 star. Seox has arguably the best 4 * in the game, so you notice the minor upgrade to 5 * more. Compare to other eternals that have awful 4 *s, and then become complete at 5 * (like Niyo).

5* Six is nearly unkillable, even if he is the only character left.

it's pretty much a selfish upgrade like 5* sarasa, though instead of getting extra damage six gains more reliability instead.
might be affected badly in the future though if cygames implement more dispels/plain damage sources from enemies though

I'm gonna be out of pots 1/4way into gw so I'm feeling a little itchy. I have the homosword and can awakening for ~36k plain damage then cami-lunanu plain for 4-8k plain damage. That enough or do I need to make a salsa?

not him but if you have a good fire grid and friend shiva, you can take the 3 BP twitter zeph raids really fast with other zerkers (takes usually around >1 min) and gain 2k - 3k pendants per run.
