speedy woomy getting into a freak accident in tw! speedy woomy having to amputate her legs !
Leo Sanders
Early for the start of the thread, anyways. Doesn't seem like you're nailing down the time where others are around anytime soon.
Nathaniel Moore
Those two posts are backwards
Sebastian Carter
What does Speedy think about our new weapon?
Jeremiah Torres
That’s why you pair it with iss for its full potential
Nicholas Ross
what if your woomy was jealous of speedy woomy and went to her house at night to amputate her legs
Evan Peterson
Guys, stop forcing it please. I now regret drawing her like that, I intended it to be as inoffensive as something like that can be, but you guys always manage to turn everything into a shitshow. At least be more subtile.
Ethan Sanchez
i mean offence
Ryder Powell
>taking shitposts seriously Get a load of this guy
Joshua Ortiz
I mean, I actually kinda like that the legacy lives on but these guys don't understand the core- it was never about the process, just the result. Something like "Speedy Woomy is shorter around home!" is more cute than "eww" you get from those two guys, while retaining all the implications.
Cooper Bennett
there's no offense I legitimately think speedy woomy with prosthetic legs is adorable
Isaac Martin
Anyone up? REAL SQUIDDA HOURS
Bentley Torres
>sub: splat bomb HOLY SHIT THANK YOU NINTENDO OH MY GOD THANKS FOR TRASHING TOXIC MIST AND GIVING US A REAL SUB
Gavin Bell
M-maybe new brush next week
Joshua Miller
>they actually changed the kit this time round Fina-fucking-lly. This gives hopes of things like H3 getting kits that are not shit. Hope they also review Dark Tetras because their kit is no less bullshit than Splattershot's.
Hunter Baker
Why is the squid in this picture the best squid ever conceived by the Universe?
Ryder Nelson
source? i checked my 3 major sites but found nothing
Hunter Barnes
creator/owner of speedy woomy does not like the idea of her being an amputee and thus you are offending him by posting your implications like that very unrespectful
James Jackson
Because she's part of something bigger
Dominic Wood
This. If you want a prosthetic woomy, make your own instead of messing with someone else's. >Captcha: Saver Faster
Justin Roberts
>caring what the creator of an autistic squid OC wants yeah no fuck you I like legless speedy and that's that
Jaxon Sanchez
I know, but there's a big difference between "I did it because I thought it was cute and already apologised and promised to stop" and "I repeatedly target this guy in a way I can offend them the most". Latter is far more obnoxious and drives people away.
Caleb Cruz
Why rollers have to be so shit at painting?
Lucas Butler
They're already one-shot kills that don't require aim.
Oliver Adams
Because onve upon a time Dynamo was really good, and Ninty decided that anything that's not Splattershot can't be good and blanket nerfed everything.
Justin Lewis
>implying The Dynamo invalidated a metric shitton of weapons and was no fun to play against. I agree the Splattershot is overcentrilizaing but the Dynamo was just a fucking nightmare.
James Evans
The Dynamo invalidated every Bomb Rush, Inkstrike, and Echo weapon just by existing.
Gavin Gutierrez
This. Worst of all, the Dynamo could spam for ages when using Echo to refill it's tank without interruptions, and now it can do it again with Ink Armor, PLUS we're getting Blackbelly so it can spam on top of the tower thing? Fuck me, this sucks.
Owen Garcia
Dynamo was really good at what it did, true, it inked a lot at and far away, and denied huge areas as well, but in return it was pretty helpless by itself, relying on teammates' support more than anything else in the game, had tons of downtime and thoroughly sucked at handling pressure. People who said it was overpowered tend to overlook its negatives and only look at the fact that "Just shoot them lol" wasn't the best option for their puny shootywang when facing Dynamo. Think of it like Brella before Brellas, you have to actually outplay them.
Austin Martin
Who are some of the best splatoon players in the community to learn from?
James Morris
The Dynamo is pretty shit at painting now, though.
Adrian Martin
Me
Matthew Martinez
Are you lying to me? ;)
Joseph Ramirez
Not exactly ;)
Joshua Flores
>use a Shooter VS a Dynamo >have to time your attack with when he's out of ink, assuming he doesn't echo you first when sneaking up on him >have to get past his team and ignore the objective >have to make it through the entire minefield of ink he's created without him noticing you from his perch >have to time your attack just right so he doesn't turn around in midair and crush you
>play Dynamo vs a shooter >spam from the perch all day >spam for ages thanks to ISM+IRU >if someone comes up on you, just turn around to face their general direction and unleash a tidal wave to delete them >if you die, it's fine since you stacked Quick Respawn
Dynamos were one of the worst parts about S1, up there with pre nerf Kraken and Attack Up Rapid Blasters,
Caleb Allen
>bomb rush Maybe if you didn't stack bomb range up to stay back safe, and even then they were far safer than mr two-second-long-action because mobility with free sub-strafe and ability to use your quickly splatting main weapon. Also, Dynamo provided nowhere near sucker or seeker rush levels of area denial. >Inkstrike Then why Gold Dynamo was the most common one if it invalidated itself? I'll tell you- it didn't. If you used inkstrike to ink and not as more versitale tentamissiles, you did something wrong. >echo Naaaaah. Besides the fact that point sensors were better than echo in most cases, unless it's on some guzzler like Dynamo is, there were plenty of reliable echo guns. Dynamo couldn't charge it on one tank.
David Hughes
Spawning Grounds > Marooner’s Bay >>> Lost Outpost
Aaron Evans
>play dynamo vs a charger >???????????? the whole point of the dynamo is (was, since the new dynamo is worthless) to counter low-mid range weapons and control turf. Post nerfs it wasn't even that good. The real problems were QR+SJ and lag
Xavier Cooper
At first I thought gold dynamo had burst bombs instead of splat bombs. I'm not sure if I should be disappointed or relieved.
Gabriel Morgan
>use a gun with a grenade >force them down from their perch >bait them into exhausting their ink supply >go for an easy splat >even if you have to abort, they're off their duty too, so you won simply by wasting time of such a valuable target
>use a 3-liner >just shoot them, they can't hit you
>use a charger >they won't even dare to show their head until you're dead
It was a high-value target, kinda like a second objective. Now everyone is equal and everything is a mindless bloodbath.
Michael Garcia
Bomb Rush only lasted for a few seconds, the Dynamo lasted an entire game. And wasn't invalidated by a Kraken. > Gold Dynamo >the most common one What? >Naaaaah. Good argument. The Dynamo was hands-downt he best Echo weapon in the game.
Isaiah Bennett
I always knew which Dynamos to be afraid of and which ones would be easy just by looking at the color. And as a Silver main, I could have told you, Gold Dynamo was a strictly inferior weapon. With the Splat1 Sprinkler to help charge my echolocator, I literally never had to stop flicking. My Sprinkler made it that much harder to advance on me. My echolocator was almost always up so I always knew you were coming.
In other words, don't kid yourself. Saw plenty of Silvers in S+ and very few Golds. Most of the good players understood which was better too. If Gold was more common in Turf War, it was because of the Inkstrike alone, because scrubs loved last second inkstrikes more than actual area control. Silver was definitely more common in ranked.
Dylan Stewart
Gold was decent on Tower Control and Rainmaker before the Tempered came out and gave everyone a 15-second Wail.
Kevin Murphy
>sub is splat bomb wait wasn't it mist the one that got datamined? did the buff the dynamo before it cam out?
David Anderson
yup, they changed it beforehand. God bless.
Joshua Smith
>wanting the dynamo to be good
Juan Smith
What's the problem? No one's asking for it to be Splat1-launch tier.
Jack Williams
The Dynamo being shit is necessary for a healthy game.
Gavin Powell
damn still buttblasted, huh?
Nathaniel Morgan
All this talk about Dynamos makes me want to use it, but I can't even deal with the slowness of the Blaster I like the new kit too ...
Alexander Watson
Prove the Dyanamo is necessary to make a good game.
Cameron Rodriguez
>lasted the entire game That's the point of an anchor, like Dynamo, or a sniper. They are close to specials in their effect on the match, but they are also fairly limited in their capabilities, require heavy team support to function and have massive bounty on their heads, so huge that even as much as disrupting their activity gives you a leg over them, nevermind splatting them. Compare to what we have now- anchors are made unviable, and meta is way too offensive. Even chargers became frontline weapons with their charge hold. >wasn't invalidated by a Kraken. I mean, Kraken tears Dynamo apart.
All in all, without QRSJ Dynamo was pretty fair. It was a president with nuclear codes and a self-defense pistol, as opposed to a marine with a cannon.
Adrian Diaz
i don't say that it is necessary it's just nonsensical to have a weapon that is so bad that no one uses it besides for shits and giggles either make it viable (not OP) or remove it
Dominic Myers
>it's just nonsensical to have a weapon that is so bad that no one uses it besides for shits and giggles Splatoon has always been full of those weapons.
Ryan Morales
>no one uses it besides for shits and giggles >make it viable or remove it so... no fun allowed?
Elijah Reyes
Viable control and stall-breakthrough comps. Right now only pure offense and multirole comps are any good.
Ethan Butler
is it fun to have teammates crippling themselves with bad weapons costing you your rank?
Gavin Robinson
>Splatoon has always been full of those weapons Name a joke main weapon in Splat1 and I'll tell you how it wasn't a joke. Hard mode: no Inkbrush.
Jose Flores
>X is necessary! >No it isn't >THEN PROVE Y IS NECESSARY There's so much wrong with this post that I could cry. You are one stupid ass faggot. Please don't reproduce.
Bentley Barnes
Aerospray
Zachary Bennett
Splat 2 is in a much better state than the first game as far as variety goes because you no longer have a tidal wave on demand that instantly respawns when killed. >b-but muh splattershot
Cooper Perez
That goes for every weapon if they bring it to ranked for fun. And you probably know that teammates are very creative when it comes to crippling themselves.
You're suggesting to remove it from all modes because it's not good in one. Speaking of, it is good in SR.
Jason Evans
>inks more than anything else >the most mobile weapon in the game bar none >not complete trash in combat like Inkbrush, outdoes most weapons that are not 2-liners if it can get in range (inb4 hurr point blank- 65-70% accuracy at max range is usable) >pretty unique and useful kits You probably wouldn't use them in a tournament, mind you, but you could still achieve great results if you abused their strengths. Even RG had a niche, it was an often overlooked TC weapon. Dynamo in 2 has no defined strengths, especially ones to cover for its weaknesses.
Luis Walker
How would you nerf the Splattershot? Can it even be nerfed? Was it this dominant in S1? I remember using an Octoshot when the Splash O' didn't cut it, but I can't remember how common it actually was.
Jose Allen
I can only theoretically paint the best. This is not true at all in practice because it can never paint anything relevant due to its bad range, accuracy, and damage. >most mobile weapon Even the Sploosh is more mobile.
Hunter Walker
I just hope this means that.
>Inkbrush Noveau gets Ink Armor Special to make it fully supportive. >Squelcher doesn’t get panic Bombs. >Carbon Roller Deco get Burst Bombs instead of Sprinkler
Easton Rivera
>How would you nerf the Splattershot Buff everything else. It recieved no nerfs in its transition to 2.
Henry Rivera
>throw two splat bombs >ink armor >throw two more >flick anyone that gets close Not now, boner...
Luke Allen
It's just a solid all-around weapon. The main weapon itself doesn't need to be touched because almost everything else in the game is balanced around the Splattershot acting how it does. Just lower the splash damage on the Splashdown and it'll be fine, no more burst combo.
Carson Turner
Oh, wait, so in the transition from S1 to S2, most everything but the Splattershot got nerfed? Is that why the Tri-Slosher was such a big deal even though it wasn't very memorable in 1?
Christian Taylor
I think the main problem is the synergy it has with Burst Bombs and Splashdown. Trade subs between it and the Tentatek version, and you'll have something that isn't utter bullshit. Or nerf Splashdown a tad bit. 55 damage when you're 3 lines away is retarded.
Levi Gutierrez
So Splashdown is the problem, I see.
Carson Richardson
Try that again with Special Power.
Nicholas Stewart
>the Sploosh is more mobile How so? It's not even Spla2n where Sploosh got buffed run speed and end blob size, in Splat1 Sploosh was no more mobile than Jr and Nzap, in fact even less because its range sucks. Aero, on the other hand, had decent enough range and plopped 3 bullets for every 2 Sploosh and Zap did, so it practically always was standing in a huge pool of its own ink. Which also alleviated the "theoretically" part, it could run away from any engagement and try to approach from another angle. >damage Same TTK as Jr and Nzap, except if anything other than other Aero hit them, it goes down 8 frames (4+4) instead of 5, because 24.5 damage results in 98 at 4 shots.
Asher Young
I don't know which one for sure, but the Tri Slosher either got a range buff going into 2, or every other gun got a slight range nerf. Point being that the Tri used to be outranged by the Splattershot.
The Splatoon devs seem adamant about 2 things: they never change kits and they never undo balance changes.
Jackson Reed
>they never undo balance changes .96 going back to 62 damage AND post-picks Splat1 levels of accuracy at once would disagree, and Luna getting jump accuracy back would too.
Lincoln Smith
>Same TTK as Jr and Nzap Under perfect conditions, sure. But you need to land 5 shots that spread like butter.
Xavier Barnes
That's different because it's between games. They never go back on balance changes between patches. Except special meter for some reason. They would rather come up with convoluted ways to nerf something they have previously buffed instead of reverting a change.
Hudson Williams
>But you need to land 5 shots that spread like butter. Which is also true of Jr, and especially of Sploosh. Shoot enemies' feet and accuracy will be usable even at max range- except Sploosh's max range is Aero and Jr's "95% accuracy" range. There have to be some tradeoffs for better inking and mobility, don't you think?
Brody Reyes
Who starts these fucking miiverse trends
DUDE said OwO Bring callie back etc
Justin Reyes
>Shoot enemies' feet and accuracy will be usable I mean I hate feet as much as the next guy but what
William Lewis
faggot 12 year olds
Austin Howard
>Bring callie back Nothing wrong with that
Julian Foster
The fuck is she going to do?
Jaxson Myers
Dance? Look cute? Anything but putting the shades back on?
Asher Price
>your woomy will never wear a bunny outfit for Halloween
Cameron Nguyen
She'd give me her sunglasses.
Nicholas Gray
>no one is running cold blooded >point sensor over wall >mark 3 of them >team wipes them
Man I want like pure sub power up gear
Josiah Reyes
The lower you shoot, the better is the accuracy. With Aero you can also jump and it'll actually improve accuracy because it doesn't get any worse from jumping.
Brandon Collins
>I get the game just as the worst map from splatoon returns Kill me.
