I would love to be able to commission a naval port/military garrison on Kul Tiras or wherever the fuck the Horde would go, and use actual strategy to interact with the zones. But I know that Blizzard would drop the ball and do that shit like WoD garrisons or Legion Order Halls, so never ever, I suppose.
I just want a fucking comfy naval port and some player housing. Or player housing on a boat.

EQ2 was a failure and blizzard learned from that.

I'm going to give you people the one biggest reason to play gnome:

we will get boats and it will basically be like riding the gunship in deathwings raid, infinite backdrop of waves and water appearing to move fast as we sit on some soulless ship with minimal "customization" and a war table to play a facebook mini game on with portals to whatever hub inside the captains quarters and a bunch of rando npcs who are scripted to stop look in our direction and do /salute "Captain"

EQ2 failed because they released it too early and while EQ1 was still doing well.

If WoW 2 comes in 2024 like I think it well (20th anniversary of WoW), then it might do well. WoW at that point might really be a distant memory.

I haven't played in a long time and was thinking of playing again if anything neat comes from Blizzcon this year, like new races or classes or combos.

So many ways to make World PvP spring up and be enjoyable. Plus I enjoyed grinding mats in PvE. Could turn my brain off and do something productive in the open world instead of constantly running M+ like an autismo.

There's been datamining of character creation screens that feature nightborne, lightforged draenei, "void elves", and highmountain tauren.

Nothing's been confirmed yet but a lor of people are speculating they will be made into subraces.
