Serious question, nips don't actually like donkan MCs, do they? Because how could you ever. Surely neets don't want to play as the character who can't read any situations or understand human emotions. That doesn't make any sense to me. Donkan protagonists keep coming out because they need the MC neutral to any heroine until he enters their route, which makes things bad if the heroine already likes MC before the VN starts and the only thing that's keeping them from hooking up is MC's stupidity, instead of making the relationship like Yamato - Miyako in non Miyako route where he's aware of her affection but rejects her outright.

MGs sales are pretty good and they quite good at communicating with their customers. SukiSuki seems to be a standout exception. The other month, I remember they updated about BokuTen which has been in debugging hell for like 2 years so I know they're still working on things
