Need more specific collection, resource and deck plan information to help you more specifically. We usually help out people with this stuff in the discord.
Not gonna be as bad as most people think. Most important Pirates cycle out in April, so it'll only be like, 3 months of Pirate mania.
Craft Thalnos, he's useful in nearly every class and will never cycle out. Worth it.
I feel like Gadgetzan and Booty Bay are too closely related, especially considering the obvious Pirate influence.
What might be cool is if they make a new counter-tribe of Law Enforcers that do stuff to enemy tribes and stick it in Paladin. Could be dope.
If it ends up being Booty Bay, I hope we get some Zul'Gurub characters sneaked in.

There is nothing wrong with Aggro/Midrange/Tempo/SpeedySpeedBoy decks existing to keep Control decks down.

silencing and destroying a minion or healing all friendly characters have no correlation. Also, one of Druidès core traits is to have shit removal or destroying a minion while giving your opponent a boon (naturalize/mulch)

What makes it even worse is that when I get salty in arena I just keep playing more, so I ended up doing a shit run after a shit run over and over again.
I hear you. It's honestly bullshit. Kripp is one of the best arena players in world and he's averaging something like 5.6 wins during the event. The event takes absolutely no skill and is majority luck. I have noticed that noobs and shield bearers love these garbage events cause RNG is only way they ever win. In many months I average over 7 wins in normal arenas and I don't want to be gimped so stupid noobs can get their first 12 wins.
