Remove Arena Assault, implement a Tempest-style mode where you bring 1 of your units, 2 friend units, and 1 random unit. Friend units are given a pick list of 3 presented, and you choose one (use the arena selection screen basically). 5 maps, no backup teams. No overpowered 40+ units until the last map since no backup teams.

Award daily sacred coins/feathers/orbs based on the same criteria as tempest, but add Units Surviving as a criteria.Rewards are awarded based on your best run of the day, and are a daily thing.

Additionally, if your unit is chosen by a friend on a weekly basis, toss something like an orb or some coins your way.
