OP, here. Yeah the mouse is pretty much """""""dead"""""" (i.e unusable;mouse keeps on right-clicking (and also left-clicking) by its own, double clicks instead of single clicks, etc), but I can still do the "cawadooty BS" combo with it -- which may give it a few more months before I stop being a cheaparse and finally buy a decent mouse instead of the common "three fiddy" garbo. Oh, and the muddy is there because I'm not nerdy enough to proper clean pc periphals.
And yes, this is the mouse I've been using to try to "aim better" those last few years. May the bullying begin.

i noticed when my old mouse started to double click that i changed finger position it stopped doing double click after a while. i also moved around the finger on the button while pressingdown. so it might simply be dirty inside n outside Io/
