The irony with STALKER in this context is that the ironsights animations are pretty badly designed and you're actually better off shooting from the hip with any weapon that doesnt support a scope. In other words, never use a pistol, not even in the early game. Shotgun for beginning so you can shoot from the hip, AR for middle so you can shoot from the hip and penetrate armor, and VSS for the end so you can snipe power armor faggots before they snipe you.

Marked One is a scrawny little bitch who can't control muzzle climb with a 9x18mm Makarov even when wearing a full servo exoskeleton.

Not to mention my personal problem with ironsights, which is that it does not reflect how aiming actually works irl. It's not supposed to be a 2d image of your gun plastered on top of a 2d image of the world where your gun obscures half your vision. The depth perception of real shooting makes reality more intuitive than a 2d display attempt at simulation. Everyone who's been in basic knows that you don't close your other eye when aiming down the sights with one.

You are fighting fucking raiders. Not gunners with enough experience to be worth spending money on by their higher ups. Not enclave remnants. Not Institute synths. Not BoS or their spinoffs. Not one of the other wealthy and powerful factions in general. Hell it's not even a GOOD raider gang. At best the leader should have a nicer gun and maybe a solid chestpiece and/or nice helmet. The reason why I got the silent XP mod was that when you reach level cap it feels like there's something wrong with the game. If it's silent all the way from the beginning you won't notice the difference.

Def Ui for FO4 is certainly not working for me and I can't tell why. Nexus tells me to install it like any other mod with NMM which I did but there is nothing changed. I checked the data folder for the .exe that is how you change the size and whatnot and it's just...not there.

Does CBBE only support vailla armor in the shape of default, slim and curvy? I wanna edit some things but they don't take effect when wearing armor. I'm shit at bodyslide studio, is there an easy way for me to make armor fit a custom body with CBBE? Like a quick 'convert' button or will it require me to go into outfit studio and move shit with my mouse to make it fit?

Verified just now. Changed the body type in bodyslide while at the main menu and it DID effect the save I loaded right after.

If the specific armor mod is bodyslide compatible and has the shapedata you only have to pick the outfit from the rolldown menu, your bodypreset and then click build. It couldn't be easier user, come on.

The NCR is unlikely to read the East coast simply becuase they have to get through the American Southwest, which is either LEgion territory, or full of raiders after the LEgion's collapse, and generally lacks the sort of resources the NCR needs to expand at any sort of reasoanble rate.

Even if they did make it out of the southwest, they would then have to deal with the Midwestern BoS, who controls most of the Midwest.

Then they would have to cross the shithole that is the Ohio river, which is so irradiated that you can die in seconds by simply walking near its banks

Yeah, and "X damage projectiles" is what ammo types are for. In NV you get standard, JHP, AP, magnum, EMP, incendiary, even rubber bullets. All this "vendor, magic, rare, legendary, unique" nonsense should stay in Diablo.

Hell, if you want some devastating rounds, do what Tactics did and go depleted uranium.

Honest Hearts, and Lonesome Road were garbage though. Dead Money was passable. and only OWB was really good

I honestly loved all the DLCs, they all have cool content beyond just the story. The weapons and armor are pretty cool, and the perks are really nice to have too.
While HH doesn't have all the story bits, it has the best aesthetics, the non faction ranger armor and the story of the Survivalist and his rifle, which are kickass.

In terms of how much I enjoyed them
OWB > HH > LR > DM

They all have their charms and positive/negative points
Dead Money is for spooky mexican casino and exploration, without the melee and unarmed skills it become a tad harder I had tons of fun the first time I played it
Honest Heart have some nice environment and an interesting story told through logs. Though the main quest and side quest are quite boring
Old World Blues have some nice new weapons and the environment is nice and interesting, but there are still some boring quest
Lonesome Road is linear and full of mobs but the setting was amazing, it really feel like you are at the end of the world

The Ultimate Edition is quite cheap now and a lot of mods require you to have the dlc so get them

The problem with ammo types as they were in New Vegas is that they were usless since you did so much damage just with normal bullets that alt ammo types were just overkill on top of overkill, and when combiend with the icnreased item decay thry brought, o uwere ltierally making the game harder on yourself by using them. This was only made worse b ythe fract that the game rarely gave ammo crafting components as loot, stores sold very little of it, and when they did they were much more expensive compared to normal round, which did the job anyways. This all resulted in most people never using them, because the game did basically everything in its power to discourage your from doing it.

Most of these problems would still be valid in Fallout 4, so there was no reason to spend the time making alternate ammo types, when they would be just as useless as in New Vegas, when you can much more easily make the legendary system, which achieves the same basic gameplay mechanic, but does so more in a way that people will use, and gives access to a wider variety of effects.

The NCR will never be significantly east of the Continenal Divide, ever. Some ambitious powerful Caravan Companies might, and NCR could have embassies and frontier trade posts on the plains perhaps, but no significant political influence or military force projection.

The NCR could plausibly be a major seed state or participant of a later Southwest or Western American Commonwealth or Federation or some shit like that, with other regional powers participating, even with the NCR influencing how the new state is developed, but the NCR as it is won't spread out that far; it's too unsustainable as it is, the bureacracies and power bases are too localized regionally there would be too much pushback from other regions getting the short end of the stick without some major reform.
