I think they're trying to stop stalemate 90 minute games. If you can snowball to level 25 you'll be rewarded with the tools to win or someone else will take advantage.

Turbo mode is nice just because of how little time you lose in a loss. Sure, it's virtually impossible to come back in, but that's fine. It's 20 minutes, tops, unlike a regular game where it's 30-40 minutes on a short game.

How do you beat Riki this patch? He was already unbeatable in the previous patches (inb4 detection), but now it's just completely fucked up.

it's good on troll, you can get it on ursa or other such heroes.
imho wraith king is an ideal fit.
this mute and dispel from the item makes sure you can right click them and they can't blink or force away, the slow combined with your skeletons means they can't run away.
believe it or not wraith king is insanely hard to beat in a fair fight, forcing 1 hero to fight you means you can delete someone with your first life almost guaranteed.
you do need a blink though to make sure you close the distance prior to use.
