What will you do if Star Citizen is cancelled?

Make Ben fat jokes

is there a list that says the topics in each jump point issue

What's your favourite spaceship /sgdgedscgs/?

And how much would you pledge for an ingame equivalent.

If only.

can't believe I pledged with an avenger and thought it looked cool. Now everything shits on it

$0, we don't need a Reliant 2.0.

The Reliant shares little with the B-Wing beyond the rotating cockpit; it's far from the role of a hardline heavy fighter. Though, now the the tech is in place I wouldn't argue against other ships designed with it in mind.

Fifty thousand credits and a box of protein foodstuffs.

That's the problem, the rotating cockpit. I'm not sure if it would be different with the engine placement on the B-wing, but as soon as the Reliant loses a wing it's uncontrollable. A flaw like that on a fighter would be worse than on the Reliant.

The rotating gimmick is worse than useless, so hopefully not.

>dude verticality lmao
is there any concept art of xian elevators

xian have magic floating stairs heights aren't a problem

Why am I not surprised?

Elevator pitch idea for SC:
Procedural city gen tech used to generate slums for freeform vigiliante justice/criminal gang warfare.
Please Chris I want to be the fucking Judges kicking down doors with a death wish.

I just want a slum part of ArcCorp.

Whoever recommended me Endless Sky yesterday, thanks a whole bunch. That game scratched an itch badly.

remembering chris talking about back alleys and seedy areas and getting missions or getting in fights etc.makes me think the procedural city will get endlessly delayed

It's a good thing only the engine team in Frankfurt are working on that tech then.

What god damn generator am i supposed to destroy on tier 3 power grid missions. I already blew up 1 on the landing pad and 1 in the compound, next to it. Where is the last one hiding?

The idea of actual having the players walk the streets is retarded. The city should be clumped enough together so that the ship is automatically destroyed once it touches the surface (actual "sea level" so to speak) and be allowed only on some rooftops.
What you are saying is plain madness and unfeasible.

It's great when everyone agrees with you.

I have 3 hours. I made some webms, any specific requests for content? Link with timestamp and I'll make it to the best of my ability.

Kr'Thak were possibly retconned not to be Human descendants of the Artemis Generation ship launched some 700 years in the past. The Xi'an encounted the Kr'Thak 600 years ago and went to war with them in original lore. Timelines sort of matched up and it would be a good way to introduce a story about Humans who went down a different path. Which is why the Xi'an did not want humans to contact them because the Xi'an would be trapped between 2 factions of Humans.
Once it was theorized a lot on Reddit and CIG forums suddenly the Kr'Thak have been around for a lot longer and only at war for the last 600 years and definitely totally not human descendants of the Artemis guys.

From starwars at least my favorite has always been the Y-wing. I had the equivalent for a very long time.

any webums from this citcon

gotchu. One Minute.

This CitCon SAVED my faith in the project and actually convinced me to buy a Retaliator. God bless Chris, I was really getting worried, but 30 looks fucking amazing.

You're joking right?

I only have this

...

...

Oh look trees and a sensible layout. And all those diverse buildings behind.

You kids want to buy some spaceships?

>commieblocks
>in year 2500
Even today all countries are going away from this shit, absolutely no reason for that to exist in the future.

oh logg dreez and seornbile lqaoit and qll thoswe dcgieverse bulldongs bohend

>shilling wtfodinosaur's stream at the end there

Doesn't Cryengine have that tech by default? Fucking HL2 had that 13 years ago.

'Threadly' reminder that Star Citizen will have it's commercial release before Half Life 3 is announced

...

halflife 2 did not fucking have that. halo 3 however did

>halflife 2 did not fucking have that.
It did tho.

I've been meaning to ask, why is the american flag edgy? is this some post-trump creation where loving your country has been shoved into the realm of cryptofascism by neon haired college activists?

go ahead and show me. I don't think there were even stairs in that game, but you definitely couldn't see your feet.

>I don't think there were even stairs in that game
Nigger, what?
>your feet
I'm not talking about player feet, I'm talking about NPCs having that. SC is just slapping first person camera on character model.

It is on a zippo lighter in the picture. Only old people and edgelords carry zippos.

...

...

>thanks to MMO online bullshit we won't be able to play this until 2025, if ever

>we're closer to 2025 than 2010

...

Look like E:D with lens flare.

...

mmmm dat blurry ground plane

it kind of just popped up

It's a transition from their 8 min inbetween from the travel time.

...

o ok

If ED looked anything like that I'd buy it this second.

>you re now aware that destiny and SC share the same world

Yeah, they're flying .2c (20% the speed of light) across tens of millions of kilometers. IMMERSHUN

...

thanks webum user

I would have preferred to see these in first person at least once. Chris autistically insists on third person the entire time

...

...

WHEN

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

I think because he wants as much to be in picture as possible to make it seem cinematic. It shows off the pretty ships and visuals they make, and honestly it isn't particularly special to be in first person. QTing around Current Crusader gives me enough of that desu

I am particularly interested in the underground derelict ships. That would be pretty fucking cool. Pitch black, 30m bel

Reminder that the Terrapin fails at every role it's meant to fill

A zippo doubles as a nice little winter hand-warmer if you let the lid close halfway and catch the flame for a couple seconds.

Considering its not flight ready and even if it were half the roles don't even exist yet, I'd say that was a pretty big theorycrafting turd you just squeezed out, user.

... 30m below the ground in the bowels of an old, downed Idris would be pretty fucking cool. Especially if it had creatures and stuff inside.

Wish the Nox flew closer to the ground and stuck there rather than jumping about.

If anything they need more ground clearance. They keep hitting small boulders on the ground and respond to erratically with so little space to react.

Ground clearance is important when the lag time between an obstacle being high enough to be a problem the system increasing your altitude is sufficient to make you hit said object and fire horribly

like we saw at CitCon.

...

Perhaps I should say poorly-designed for every role it's meant to fill. Heavy armor on an explorer, no stealth components on a recon, no seats on a dropship, no medical equipment on a search & rescuer.

...

...

...

That looks incredibly dumb

Yeah, they're too perfectly in formation. Needs lag time, but for a system that we saw once more than a year ago, I think it may have had improvements by now.

looks too clean
I hope they have dirty bathrooms and prostitutes

Does this faggot not even edit his videos past compiling gameplay footage?

user... we won't see any of that stuff as the SJWs within CIG won't have any of that
