That package will entertain you pretty long. Try DT2 demo to see if you like that kind of game as well, it's a DRPG. And how much VN are you able to stomach? Utawarerumono is 70% VN and 30% SRPG, the story is very good though. And yeah, if you're into music games Miku is a good choice.

A Rose in the Twilight if you count it's non-Jap release for 2017. Also Yomawari: Night Alone came out in 2016, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows is the 2017 one.

A lot of those are from 2016. From the ones that were actually 2017 I liked Toukiden 2 (even though the graphics took a hit for it to be open world on vita) and both utawarerumono games. Rose in the twilight is in my to buy list.

Why is Takurus sword sometimes blue and sometimes red? Is it a mood thing or something?

Why didn't Senris power turn her properly into Nono, she was still wrinkly in that picture. So it's just a power within Chaos Child patients? Though her hair and eyes were changed so that's something I guess.

Overall, I liked Senris ending the most (though after the game told that they were all actually old and wrinkly maybe it wasn't such a good ending). She accepted herself, Serika and Sakuma was also dead. I wonder what Wakui planned on that ending? He did talk about his plan as well and how Takuru ruined it in the real ending. So probably that ending would have been shitty as well considering that. Though in that one Ukis ending he didn't apparently do anything since Takuru was still taking care of Uki after graduating. Or maybe these are the holest that one always finds in VNs.

Anyway, it was enjoyable rollercoaster.

Artstyle aside which would be personal preference, I don't think Atelier Sophie looks better than Shallie+, not even counting textures. Shallie+ even runs better than Sophie does too in everywhere but the towns.
