Highlander and Ricky are really damn powerful, but I wouldn't say they're broken. As for underpowered... well, I've done multiple runs with almost all the classes (Troubadour is the only one I haven't used because I just dislike those type of classes) and they all seem well balanced.

Well, on other classes it sure is, but without Grimoires (that's how he's apparently going to play) it isn't that bad; Ricky's damage is quite lackluster without it.

Action boost allow you to kill every boss in like 2 turns, you need a set up. But the damage you deal with action boost 10 is insane.
Turning Tide + Vulcan Form/Penetrate and you'll never use floor jump to heal in floor 8.

But don't Charge moves in EOU only go up to like 1.8x?

Council asking for book in 2nd Stratum and gives no other information. Am I looking for secret paths or a dead-end corridor? Explored bottom part of 9F through secret path and there was no pop-up. Don't want exact location, but just more of a hint than what I've been given.

No. I'm a chiptunefag but the FM soundtrack is simply adapted from the original one, which was composed with actual instruments in mind. As a result, the FM versions sound very bland and Famitracker-tier.
I don't like the normal soundtrack either though. EOIV's was leagues better.

Not only that, but it misses a bunch of background channels so it sounds really empty. The quality of the synths is also really low compared with the first 3 game's soundtracks. He also claimed he didn't like working with FM anymore too, so that might have been another reason why it sucks. And fuck, he didn't even use the original EO3 tracks for Cold Justice and Unknown Menace, despite the EO5 versions were literally the same track but with real instruments.
