It's nice getting a new hero, map and a short animation, but honestly, HotS and WoW had more to offer this Blizzcon. Both will have big changes coming up, not to mention new content, while OW keeps moving at a snail's pace.

Will we have to wait for another year, before they announce a new game? Or where is all the time and effort sinking into?

What I'm most disappointed about, is the fact that they plainly said there were no plans on adding clans or other social aspects to the game. And that just kills it for me.

Early in a game's life, and competing with Overwatch, they need to put out a lot of characters. Adds variety, complexity, and a chance to appeal to everybody, like how Riot has a waifu for everyone.
Later on the game will be kept alive by skins, slower character releases, rebalancing, and additional tweaks.

Honestly it's a lot better than how OW devs can't even put out an event every month and all content sits on PTR for a month before you get to try it out in the live game.

Finally a main that I can actually not hate. Zenyatta and Symmetra have been getting a little boring.

I like Moira and her concept. But jesus, yeah she is a Frankenstein monster of Reddit ideas, talon vampire healer with auto aim. It feels like to me she exists gameplay wise and lore wise just to plug some holes.

I think Gen 5 for Pokemon was an anomaly because they tried making it Gen 1 2.0. If I recall, most gens had at least over 100.

I'm not saying they're running out of ideas but the general trend of new pokemon is on the decline.
My point is that I think I'd actually prefer less new pokemon if they aren't good, even if there's till more good ones.

Gen 5 had like 150 new pokemon and like 20 of them were bad, but that's still a lot more than most other gens.

Personally, I don't know. I'm just commenting that having more than 100 isn't bad in itself when Gen 5 was this weird case. I haven't touched Pokemon in a long time but the ones I do remember had more than 100 new ones.

I think they were trying to Prove A Point in gen 5 or something, and they ended up just making some really garbage designs along the way

We got map, hero and short. My guess is that they deliberately held off releasing stuff for Blizccon, but yeah, they really need to crank out more heroes for a game that makes them so much money.
