It's not magic like in GL, but it's definitely awesome.

Not really, it's armor so obviously it's distorting the natural shape a bit. As his combat abilities follow the monk school it is logical that he would want more protection around his feet and lower legs, and feet/shins are naturally a more vulnerable area anyways, which easily explains his choice in footwear.

No, his nose is not nearly that large, and it fits very well with the rest of his features giving an overall wonderful appearance that would not be obtainable with alternate shapes/sizes.

Having a differing opinion surrounding something like a movie that can be enjoyed and interperated in multiple ways for multiple reasons is much different than having a differing "opinion" surrounding a blatant fact such as the merit of the True Hero and his actions. Enjoyment of a movie (to some extent, at least) is similar to enjoyment of a color in that there are multiple potential reasons behind it and more than one of those reasons are valid, whereas with facts you either agree with it for the proper reason or you are wrong.
