I feel like it's unlikely for it to be a problem though, I mean, I've occasionally giggled at an inappropriate time because my tulpa did something silly but it's not like it's hard to tell people "oh something silly just popped into my head don't worry about it". Tbh that's about all the impact it's really had in public for me, tulpas are with you and experiencing what you're experiencing so it's not like you're gonna suddenly explode with rage on a sunday drive and plow into someone because you lost your shit or something.

I was kinda joking, I should've made it a bit more exaggerated, but at the same time as long as you're willing to put in the work it's pretty guaranteed.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Doki Doki Literature Club. The plot is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Sartrean Existentialism most of the themes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Monika's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these themes, to realise that they’re not just scary- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Monika truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the meaning in Monika's existential catchphrase "Just Monika,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Portrait of Markov. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Salvato's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Monika tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand and the looks rivaling the goddess herself. Nothin personnel kid
