Half of the game is about how she wants to be a hero and then she either lets the fucking town get obliterated which is portrayed with a mindset of "let all men fend for themselves!" or she circles back to the beginning undermining all development she had as she hides behind a bathroom stall waiting for the tragedy to play out.
She's like Donnie Darko and the Butterfly Effect dudes gone wrong.

The best ending would be her finding a way to save everyone, which she had the opportunity to do multiple times, but Dontnod wanted that BAFTA, so they omitted those opportunities in favor of a """"difficult"""" final choice
