Hopefully with 4GO, CH can apply that dungeon design to the main games.

I remember playing RB1 for the first time and having this weird feeling of nostalgia. The dungeon design, item gathering, running around killing monsters... for some reason everything reminded me of those old RPGs from the early 00s.

As someone who kind of hates what modern RPGs have mostly turned into I have a big appreciation for Neps keeping the feeling of them alive while also being hugely charming in their own way. There are other games that do the classic RPG thing in a modern sense better but even so I get the most enjoyment out of playing Neps. It's so down to basics.

I'm actually kind of against them complicating the mechanics further because it messes with that.

How would you nep your Nep if your Nep is a robotic Nep that looks and acts exactly like your Nep, except it's a robot?

I had an ISP shit going on for me a few months ago, ended up buying a Veeky Forums pass, I had it in every thread though, even outside of Veeky Forums.

That's all well and good and they should stick with what brought them great success, you also need to find a way to keep it fresh.

The only way I see the Victory system being kept fresh is to borrow from FF12's battle system while incorrporating Victory's combo system. Perhaps have different sets of attacks as opposed to it being just one set of attacks that you possibly have to change every time you get a new weapon.

4GO came to the states last month and VIIR is set to come to the states in this coming Spring.
