So, after getting bored, decided to create a new profile and start a new game where I follow arbitrary rules to see how far I can get.

Wizard run
>Only wands, elemental swords, elemental arrows, and bombs.
>Only clothing from great plateau, must use potions or meals to survive extreme temperatures.
>Spirit Orbs must be hoarded and neither health nor stamina may be upgraded.

I have a feeling this is going to be frustrating as hell as I go on, but for right now, it's been fun. Decided to go after Zora's domain first, since I won't need a bunch of ingredients to survive. Trying to decide if I should find a way to kill the Lynel.

I have a couple of rods, but they aren't great for fighting lynels, and I don't particularly want to get into an archery contest with three hearts, and less than ten usable arrows.

Anyone else have ideas for fun runs after you've completed the DLC and the main game?

Is it worth it to go back here later and kill it? What does it drop?

I find it so weird to think that so many people might face their first Lynel at that spot. I'd already clocked some 100 hours, killed plenty of them, and was packing like 50 shock arrows, when I finally arrived to Zora's Domain.

You should try having a go at him later on after you finish your work with the divine beast

Take it on and beat it. You'll have fun. They're much easier with an upgraded Stasis but it's fun to fight them normally. Just make sure you don't run away from it or it'll pull out its bow and it's practically impossible to dodge its shots.
If you're fighting that Lynel on normal mode, it should drop a Lynel Sword (24 damage), a Lynel Shield (30 shield) and a Lynel Bow (10 damage, fires three shots at once for one arrow).

Revali's gale is an ascending air current that you can create whenever you want, so climbing things becomes trivially easy. You get it after clearing vah medoh
