Er, the issue is the smaller window/resolution for no reason. Game launches fullscreen borderless and this happens.

whatever mod is handling your fullscreen/borderless window setup doesn't upscale your 1600x900 selected game resolution.

It's certainly been updated since I played it early last year. I don't recognise a lot of the new stuff in existing environments, especially in the domains. Plus there are some new quest as well. The quest rewards are still hit-and-miss though.

Is it normal for a papyrus log in a modded game to be 12 gigs after about 20 - 30 minutes?

Sharpening doesn't seem to function no matter what effect.txt I swap to. Some stuff like noise and letterbox does, but stuff like brightness, contrast and sharpening does nothing

So I know that this is mostly about waifus and Skyrim by now, but is there anyone who still gives a shit about oblivion and is willing to help a brother out? I know how to use Wrye Bash thanks to modding Skyrim and now I wanted to move to a big oblivion overhaul mod. But there are sooo many for oblivion and thesgeneral.com doesn't really touch on it all that well. Which overhaul is generally considered to be the best?

I think there are 8 big overhauls for Oblivion by now.

The assets have been done by the author himself, the new weapons and armor are reaaaaally good and well integrated (new weapon types for all standard weapon sets for example) but the new creatures are shit. He recolored goblins and other creatures mostly, so now you have grass green, blood red and piss yellow goblins running around. Pretty hit and miss.

Some guy picked up the original overhaul, added WoW races, made every female armor skimpy, added unique bosses to every dungeon (some highlights include freddy krueger, lara croft, arwen& elrond) etc. Basically, it's abysmal. Stay away.

Completely clutters the levelled lists with lorebreaking units, retextured goblins and zombies, crashes often, adds an arbitrary crafting system (it's optional but many of the bew armors are locked behind it) and has countless outdated and half assed modules. I don't like it.

The classic. The assets are used in pretty much every mod by now so it may seem boring to you, but it really has no major faults. Solid choice #1

>Francesco's Creatures and Items
Nearly all creatures and New items (including new weapon sets and weapon types) fit the setting well. It's very modular but comes with a solid installer, it's stable as well. Solid choice #2

>Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul
The newest one, comes with a good selection of lore friendly assets, can be used with all other Overhauls, adds some cool features. Solid choice #3

>Waalx Animals & Creatures
Waalx is the god of new assets. His weapons are god tier, everything is self made and is seen in no other overhauls. But it also adds lore breaking african wildlife to Cyrodiil and will forever stay in beta. But it's worth a try for the weapons alone.
