Or that they think Blizz will allocate more resources to it when there will be no demand for more resources as there will be no improvements or changes.

I mean there are some things that draw people to it
especially how you just end up being social because everything takes so long
you end up autorunning with no mount for an hour while dodging mobs for a quest or flight point
dungeons take years of cc and drinking
although some of it is more on just the modern mainstream internet
wrath-onwards wow is definitely more of a game, but older wow was definitely more of a social mmo
