The intention was for Nash to be an offense-oriented Guile, and Guile is the defensive variant. That idea went out the window with S2, but it still sorta holds true. Use his projectiles and specials to move in instead of hold ground.

watch some of bonchan's matches from earlier this year. he pretty much took the character to it's limit. also, don't just copy what he does but try to understand the reasoning behind it. in an early tank like silver you can get by with basic punishes, anti airs, and meaties though so don't stress over learning a bunch of tech too much for now.

I mean, he kind of just has worse everything than guile, but in my opinion what he shines at is switching his playstyle heavily, i.e., playing extremely lame and controlling space, then throwing slow booms to follow behind and pressure with, or just the occasional dash up throw/button when theyre scared of eating a scythe moving forward, also you're going to have to learn how to block big time, characters like nash require actual defense but it's a good skill to learn either way

Am I just bad, or is it nearly always preferable to use meter for EX moves instead of CA except for final round clutch situations? Seems like a big waste of resouces for the utility most characters' EXs bring.

it depends on the match up for me really and also how good the other guy is with their character. sometimes i can just play solid and basic and can afford to just hit a confirm into super. other times I spend the bar to close or extend life leads, to get in, corner carry, or for better frame advantage.

I seriously haven't seen one in weeks. Online is all Akuma.
