I wanted a flier to be a Taxi, and I needed a tanky blue who can bait all the QR and Steady Breath Reds. Subaki's super underrated. He's got a really similar statline to Nephenee (just can't get Wrath), and can net kills both offensively and defensively.

Because I have no money to spend. Default Henry comes in 3* so I could just pull him naturally and promote them, but I don't have an extra $1000 kicking around to spend on a gacha in before poorfag

All fliers get destroyed by Archers, but he can actually survive some with a Defense tile. and he can survive most mages because of his speed anyways, plus mages and archers aren't a problem with both Henrys having over 40 effective Res, and default Henry being the strongest Colorless counter in the game.

But he doesn't need to tank Archers, they should never be in range of him. Archers get baited in by Henry, dealing 0 damage and dying. Subaki's job is to enable Henry and HHenry to kill everything, and to be a backup plan vs teams with multiple Reds. He gets more use from the extra stats with Fury, to be a safe counter vs the strongest Reds (Ayra, Elincia, Arden).

The only reason to ever run Iote's Shield is if you have a full flier team, and need one of them to be able to tank Archers. And even then it's worse than Gronnraven TA Camilla

Xander is the far superior, versatile red cav choice. With Vantage, he CAN kill a Reinhardt and not worry.
BRoy is an offensive dream and is far better (same as Eldigan, Hell, even Eliwood) to have on your cav team than a "baiting Leo"
Sigurd is superior even still and laughs at Reinhardts as well.

Leo is not a good red cavalry unit. 2-3 others perform the red role better and Cecilia performs his bait role 4x better than he does. And she comes as a 3* and 4* pull. And doesn't require tome investment. As is the ONLY green cav mage.

You can compare the two all you like, but Leo is going to lose the comparison every single time. For the role he (terribly) fills, Cecilia is not just better at it, but easier to place. Leo is awful.

problem is unlike Cecilia, Leo has to compete with a fuckton of other red cavs, almost all of which are superior units where as cecilia only as titania and fred for competition. BRoy, Sigurd, Eldigan, Luke and even fucking Xander are better than leo.

Yeah, Leo's a great unit, people just don't use him because he's only available as a 5*, and needs more 5*s for skill inheritance. He can be a one-shot Blade mage with Cav buffs, an all-rounder tank with Close Counter and Cav buffs, or an anti-ranged specialist with Distant Defense and Raventome
