Playing Paradox for the first time. Just need to ask,do the characters just have base stats that are altered by their job(and I guess race too), and it's fine to do what you want, or do stats grow certain ways depending on what job you are when you level? I assume it's the former but I want to make sure.

Jobs don't affect stat progression.
