Raigon is top tier.
I'd say hes the best character if thorn didnt exist.

It's fine for Pestilus to have that low cooldown, but at least it starts counting when he goes out of infest.
2 dps can be fine. In lower tiers it's more about just outdamaging the support's healing. In higher tiers, you will probably need a comp like Croak Ashka or Croak Jade.

Basically any melee character that has a bility where they have a bright color of some sort around them, and it usually has the word (Counter) above their head.

It causes them to do things like,damage, reflect damage, heal, get some form of mobility, stun, shield, pull you in, etc.

Ironically jades have been shooting into melee counters, causing me to 1v2 all day.

I'm not a pvp god and I'm doing fine.
It's mostly just understanding the flow of the game and understanding what your characters, and other peoples characters.

I.e don't play a support, throw out your dash then question why you got gangbanged in the corner 1v2. Not saying you in particular but in general I've been seeing this in a handful of games this morning alone.

Is Thorn really that good? I've been playing Oldur but I didn't have any problem with them unless someone goes full retarded and starts bashing the shield or gets constantly hit by the roots.

they're very hard to miss

There are a few things that are pretty dumb about thorn. I'd point to two in particular though:
His E being so easy to land while dealing 16 and healing 16 and hard CCing.
His Q can be somewhat hard to see, is very long range, doesn't proc counters, is AOE, and the most annoying is that it goes through walls for some reason.

I still think that E isn't that hard to dodge (similar to Lucie's fear, Snipe or Freya incap), but that might be because I can hard counter it with Oldur's bubble.

Mine was a Raigon and it even jumped against it.
