Recently got a switch, want to get a multiplayer game so it doesn't start collecting dust. Is this game worth it if you don't have a pro controller or a TV? I also never played the original.

Oh god, as insufferable as I expected.

You don't need Pro for this, you just need to get comfortable with aiming using motion controls. Split JoyCons are what I prefer.

Yeah. I just got it, too. I mostly play it with the kickstand up and put the joycons in the grip. It feels good to use and looks nice on the small screen.

Pro controller doesn't matter IMO and kickstand is fine as long as you can handle it/see whats going on on the screen.

scoped its for a more campy style it has more range and the reticle its way more sensitive so you can do quick flick shots, i like using the firefin scoped for zones
now scopeless its great for this game, the charger becomes a bigger threat when he can store the shot then chase you with it, you don't get tunnel vision and you can do sick air shots with it , i like stacking swim speed on my builds i use it a lot in RM and TC
i don't play it that often

I'm nowhere near to being burned out but it is hard to get game discussion going and even when it happens it's rarely informative so I don't bother anymore. I'm lucky since I got some irl friends to squad with and talk about the game with. The OC stuff is interesting enough for me to lurk and every now and again join in.

Just came back to splatoon and found out Aerospray got nerfed.
What other weapons combine inking and long-ranged zoning? I used Dynamo in 1, it got nerfed, then I used MG with all sub power up and it got nerfed too. I really don't like splatlings or autobombs on jr, and everything else is a bit too offensive for me.

Yeah, unironically Brella. Sprinkler and Inkstorm is a great combo with the Brella, and helps hold back enemies. The shield is also pretty good. They'll either retreat, or try to bruteforce their way through. Most likely, they'll retreat, unless your teammates aren't around. You don't have to be too offensive with it. I mainly use it provide support for my team, such as keeping enemies away with my Inkstorm. It's versatile as hell.

Dualie Squelchers are legitimately a Top 3 inking weapon with as much range as L3, also has a great special for echo and reloading. I get 8+ a game
