Are there characters that don't require you to do their starting area quests and such? I don't remember if certain ones have "instanced" or seperate areas with required quests.

For instance, can I make an orc warrior and immediately just start grinding without even talking to the tutorial quest folks? Can I leave the starting area once I'm high enough level? It'd be nice to know before I make an alt and try it out.

I think I'm going to have a "brainless farming and grinding" character where I just listen to heavy metal and not give a fuck.

Are they finally revamping character creation? That is my only complaint with WoW. It's a pretty decent game in every other respect, but the most popular do MMO in the world should probably add a bit more diversity in character appearances.
