Is Skyrim Special Edition worth it? Soon™. SKSE is in Alpha and not intended for all users, but SkyUI 5.1 is working without bugs and more mods will come with SKSE.

Anyone still following Beyond Skyrim? Is there any one of these mods close to release? Will they release more stuff apart from Beyond Skyrim Bruma?

Aiden Thompson
Sure they always say they are close to release right until they get cancelled. Bruma has been "close to release" for two years before coming out.
It's best to not follow mod projects as you'll just end up hurt. The last mod I followed was a new Unique Landscapes module I pretty much stopped fanatically following TES mods after I got together with my gf, that was two and a half years ago. Last month I remember the mod and look it up. We're engaged now and the damn mod is still not out. It's been sitting at 75% finished for over a year now as far as I can tell.
John Taylor
Pedos too!
Juan Walker
No, I think Bruma is an Oldrim mod, you fucking mental pygmie.
Bentley Cook
Bruma is, but they said the rest of the mod would be SE only.
Michael Gutierrez
Every release after Bruma will only be on SE.
Landon Nguyen
>he doesn’t know The team announced before release that all future updates for the project were for SE only. Pull your head out of your ass and see what’s happening on the surface once in a while.
Lincoln Powell
>Bruma is an Oldrim mod >Bruma is every Beyong Skyrim project Look like you are the mental pygmie. Good job at looking etarded by calling other people "retard".
Luis Ortiz
>Every release after Bruma >implying they make it that far >6 years after Skyrim launched, the only thing they've got to show is 1/9th of Cyrodiil
Beyond Skyrim is as much of a joke as all the new lands mods for Oblivion. They'll never come out
Jayden Ramirez

Thinking about that scene in Deep Cover where Felix uses that pool cue.

So how did SureAI manage to release not one, but two huge landmasses when all of these "Beyond X", Skywind etc. projects never see the light of day despite having similarly sized dev teams?
Hunter Bailey
El oh el, you guys should go hang out with the Bannerlord faggots, I'm sure they'll both get released same day and we'll all get blackjack and hookers.
Kayden Brown
They have focus and know what they're doing.
Dylan Diaz
They are situated in Munich, most of their members can work together in person, and they also do mods so they can practise making proper games later on. Regular mod teams do it for fun or e-celeb status.
SureAI also simply seems to be grounded in reality. They don't overpromise, they show stuff when it's done, meaning less pressure for them. Meanwhile your usual modder makes big promises from Day 1 that he won't be able to keep
Cooper Brooks
The initial question was about future releases you half-witted toilet bowl.
Hunter King
Right, which is a moot point because its never going to come out. If it's declared that Ultimate Combat will be moved to TES VI, does that make it a VI mod? No, no it doesn't.
They can call future releases SE exclusive all they want, they're not going to release shit.
Brandon Bell
The power of German autism
Jack Johnson
They’re not releasing anything BECAUSE that announcement killed most of their audience’s interest.
Lincoln Carter
Spinal Adjustment. I've gotten it from the bait bandit that pretended to be a robbed merchant on the road who leads you into an ambush of nine. And the "survivor" of a small camp of bandits that plead for mercy. Oh, and apparently this mage on the road that seemed too paranoid for his own good.
Jackson Russell
>BECAUSE that announcement killed most of their audience’s interest. This. They build their audience on Oldrim. Saying "nah, fuck it, we're all working for SE now so don't expect anything oldrim fags beside Beyond Bruma aka "that bugged mod not even better than Beyon Reach made by ONE dude"
Parker Clark
Keep moving these goalposts my dude
Tyler Hernandez
In what way is Bruma worse than Beyond Reach? lmoa
Benjamin Wood
"hey guys we fell for the open cities meme, have no idea how to optimise anything, and now our mod runs like fuck"
"that's ok boyos we'll just convince people to play the sse version because MUH STABILITY instead of actually fixing our shit, what could go wrong"
Kevin Turner
It’s a fucking disaster. It has no quests and you can crash while idleing. Beyond Reach at least is playable.
Luis Ross
>it has no quests What, really? I didn't follow Bruma that much, but didn't they say it would have a main quest?
Dominic Gomez
All things considered, what's the best
>quest mod >content overhaul >graphics mod >immersion mod >gameplay mod
In the entire TES series? Is there some sort of secret modding hall of fame?
Daniel Taylor
Technically it does, but it’s shorter than a vanilla guild quest

>Synthia: She started showing her interest in nercomancy ever since she was a recruit in the Thieves Guild in Evermore, later on she became a Ringleader then decided to move to Rivenspire with a dunmer Acolyte from the Tribunal Temple. After having sex once, she gave birth to a daughter decided that the Dibella cult would be a better life for her.
>Ventra: She Grew up with both of her parents in Bruma, at the right age, she join the Imperial Legion for a while but was kicked out because her officers described her as "bloodthristy"and "a lost cause". 5 years down the road, she joined a underground fighting arena and lost her arm during one of her matches. Now she roams skyrim looking for a new challenger

What a weird question
>quest mod This depends entirely on your preferred type of quests. I have enjoyed Nehrim, Enderal, Vigilant, Dungeons of Ivellon, The Lost Spires, The Order of the Dragon and The Blade of the Haunted the most. But I've played at least a dozen more that I also liked.
>graphics mod I'd say Oblivion Character Overhaul or Static Mesh Improvement for Skyrim, based on the huge effect these mods have on the game. But again, depending on your preferences you could also make a strong case for pretty much every ENB or texture pack there is.
>immersion mod This one is easy, Unique Landscapes without contest
>overhaul mod Only Oblivion really has any good overhauls so that question is moot. MOO, Francesco's, OOO, WAC or OWC depending on your preference
>gameplay mod >TES >gameplay
Caleb Howard
Most of these categories go to some Oblivion mods anyway, because Skyrim modding is largely meh. Just take skyrim quest mods for example. Only VIGILANT, Enderal and Wheels of Lull are even worth mentioning. The rest is meh.
Brayden Bailey
I've been editing the misfit mage textures, since even after all this time it's still one of my favourite outfits haven't touched the gloves yet tho
Carter Fisher
Since I've been posting a butt ton about my other character, here's some trivia about Fjoldr.
He always wears gloves except when he's actively shooting. The reason is some rather embarrassing tattoos on his hands. Most people assume that these are "outlaw" tats that he got during his more sordid period. I'm actuality, he fell in lust with a big tittied Breton girl who turned out to be a Sanguine cultist. Wanting to impress her, he claimed to be a zealous Sanguinite, and during a three month period that he can't recall, went through a ritual known as "the dance of pleasure and pain." The tattoos were given during this ritual, as it was an exploration of all things that feel so good they hurt and all things that hurt just the right way.
Things happen during this ritual that no self respecting Nord would ever even dream of. So he lets people think they're gang tats.
Cooper Lee

Traveler used to be a member of the Companions but he quit when he was offered to join the Circle and learned that they were werewolves. Ryder once punched Jarl Balgruuf in the nuts. Considering how every AAA game nowadays has light RPG elements and loot and upgrade systems out the ass, what are the chances that TES VI actually ends up being less dumbed down than Skyrim? Games in general feel like they're becoming more complex as far as systems go, and it's been a long time since Skyrim's release.
Skyrim felt like the most post-COD4 ass game they could have made and it's a total reflection of where AAA games were in 2011. But I think we're past that. Do we see attributes return? More of a focus on loot stats?
John Murphy
I see a settlement that needs your help. Here, I'll mark it on your map my Thane.
Ryder Cruz
>what are the chances that TES VI actually ends up being less dumbed down than Skyrim 0

If TES:VI is anything like the newest Prey then it's going to be good in that regard.
Jaxon Cruz
Prey is not a BGS title. What the fuck.
Hudson Thomas

>what are the chances that TES VI actually ends up being less dumbed down than Skyrim? If say it's more likely that we get a Skyrim 2 than that
Grayson Fisher
As long as it doesn't have voiced protagonist, FO4's dialogues and oh please god don't let it happen quicktime events
Luis Smith
It's okay, both Todd and the lead writer said that voiced protagonist was a mistake.
Levi Robinson
Skyrim wasn't really dumbed down imo. Streamlined yes, but especially the leveling system was a hell of a lot better then Morrowind or Oblivion. And dear god was the magic better.
Nolan Scott
How was magic better? Far less effects, and you couldn't even make your own spells. Having to equip spells in your hand also cut down on the type of characters you could viably play and it was only in the game because it was designed for a controller and they ran out of buttons.
Bentley Myers
>what are the chances that TES VI actually ends up being less dumbed down than Skyrim? lol, people enjoyed shitout 4, what makes you think they are actually going to try to make something complex
>Do we see attributes return no, it's still going to be perks or something similar to eso
Nathaniel Collins
I'm very worried about TES VI being shit, I don't really like to think about the future after how awful Fallout 4 was. And then they followed that piece of shit with the creation kit.
Caleb Peterson
>can make any kind of girl, give her any appearance >decide to make a plain looking roastie whore
Ryan Gutierrez
We all remember Ilx's tentacle porn lewds and that time she fingerbanged Ewa.
Carter Watson
Less effects, yes. However, spells actually felt unique and had decent flash to them. Take shock spells. In oblivion and morrowind, it was the same graphic that you could only change the statistical attributes of. Bigger radius and more damage. In skyrim, you have concentration spells, bolts of lightning that jump between targets, walls of shock that coat the ground that enemies run through, ect. I'm not denying that it'd be great if they brought back more old effects, but I rather have magic feel..unique..then a poof of color that blasts an enemy with numbers. But hey, thats just me. I can completely understand the other side of it.
Caleb Cruz
>people enjoyed shitout 4 Did they really though? All I've ever read about the game is how much it fell flat even to casuals.
Sebastian Martin
>no goodlooking robe mods It's been 6 years since skyrim launched for fucks sake
Eli Taylor
Tribunal Robes look good.
Cameron Gonzalez
There are also still no good looking male hair mods, no good looking Argonian mods, no good looking UI skin.
Juan Bailey
I liked it a lot. It did a lot of good despite the flaws it had. The main problem was simply BGS wants to experiment and try new things, but are constricted by current IP standards. Fallout 4 was a major experimental trial. They learned a lot of what worked, and what didn't for future games. Despite all that, it stlil felt fun to tromp through the wasteland and roleplay well enough.
