>What should I do with the armor/weapons I don't want/use?
Check if you can donate any at the hidden teahouse for daily/clan rewards. Otherwise preferably disassemble them. You can also sell them to Tome or donate to Danjo at the Teahouse if you need a bit of extra glory or cash. Later on you'll be keeping them for Soul Matching, but don't worry about that until you get to NG+.

>The blacksmith is expensive, should I be using it?
You don't need to. Throughout WotSamurai and WotStrong you will constantly be finding better gear and builds don't matter so much. Soul Matching is expensive and intended for late game. If you do find a weapon you really like, try reforging it's effects using spirit iron, it's the cheapest and easiest way to improve a weapon.

>Why do people keep mentioning "smithing texts"?
Bosses tend to drop pieces of their armor and weapons when you defeat them. Very rarely they will drop a smithing text which allows you to forge their armor/weapon.

>Which clan should I join? (clan unlocked through progression)
Whichever one has a bonus that you think will benefit your build the most.

I need to FUCK a moth.

huh

Cool. thanksd bro. I tried out C weight earlier and I wasn't a fan of the low regen, but I wanna try this armor set out. It's the master swordsman set, since I have a beastly 2kat.

Honest to god, im not trying to boast or brag or anything but

Am I cheesing through this game or something?
I've one-shot every single boss so far including nue (aside from spider bitch she took me 8 tries).

It's been insanely easy, is it because of the weapon I use? (Odachi high stance only pretty much). i just get bosses to half health, use my special and they're basically done

...

hoooo boy

I don't think odachi by itself is broken but it has insane living weapon damage, second only to kusarigama

that's normal, see you at muneshige

>finally fight some one in pvp
>doesnt ki pulse
>easy to smack down into a grapple because too retarded
mfw

Jesus.

If you can put running speed on all your armor pieces, it will change everything for the better even if you're in heavy armor.

odachi becomes absolutely bullshit tier once you get moonlit snow, sword vault and charging poke
it's a ridiculous combination of damage and safety, especially if you go full fuckface with Todo, assloads of endurance and heavy armour

huh, usually people say the spider is one of the easiest

>that nue fight in the omnyo magic trial

that was annoying, wooden 2kat takes forever

ah wait, its the bat woman, not a spider

The fun i'm getting out of coop is incomparable to any soulshit i've played before aside from highlevel chalice dungeon coop in BB maybe. It's rewarding as hell, it's full of fun situations, can't believe i've missed so much by refusing to pay for ps+ back on ps4, at least now i'm getting this shit for free.

how?

it becomes better when you get a full set of
heavy grace of sussano as well

making its normals which are mostly really good

really really strong

Are leeching talismans any good? They sound good if you have a health regen on hit weapon.

I want to fuck Okatsu IRL and lick her feetsies.

They're mostly used for getting to critical HP but the damage buff is also very good (50% IIRC)

You can't really outheal the HP drain

Man I feel like I thoroughly go through each stage, but I never find nearly all of the Kodama.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but after several hours of play I have only just ventured into the titles screen and found these prestige points. Can they be used for anything else or should I just start dumping them into the stats avaliable in that menu?

what the FUCK is that

I don't remember getting that armor in Way of the Samurai 4 and I put so much time into it.

you can get items with kodama sense eventually if you dont want to combe the stages for them

SFM PORN WHEN

give me that moth vag

does moth have puss puss?

Does this game have any good lolis? the sfm loli market is woefully undersupplied and mostly staffed with mediocre western lolis

Only grannies, sorry

is this game worth full price on PC?

>dat megamilk kimono wearin' ice queen with the fuckin' lubu blade staff ting.

>Hnnng

If males have benis benis benis benis, I'm sure females have puss puss puss puss

>Does this game have any good lolis
No. It has a top tier fish waifu though.

4 vaganias?

this slut looks loli enough for me

sfm porn when?

I really want William to be a boss in some ninja gaiden title.
Imagine how powerful he will become hundreds of years later.
You can even kill him but he won't give a shit.

this

how does it compare to souls/ninja gaiden titles? all the twitch streamers look to be incredibly shitty at the game so I can't really tell

There's a cute blacksmith loli.

did you ever play a souls game? did you like it? do you like hacknslash action RPGs? then yes.

Has anyone made a WE WUZ SAMURAIZ version of the Obsidian Samurai yet?

its a cross between the slower, methodical souls game and complex hack-n-slash like ninja gaiden

Don't bully Obsidian-san 2bh

It's more comparable to Ninja Gaiden than it is to Souls. If you play it like a Souls game not only are you not going to have fun, you're also going to get shit on a lot. I've seen people trying to play this like Dark Souls completely ignoring the Ki Pulse mechanic which results in them running out of stamina fast as fuck, and not blocking which is extremely useful in this game.

Running speed is a beautiful thing and I love it. No reason not to run heavy armor + genbu for defense out the ass. It helps that his talisman attack is amazing.

awesome, I've been looking for something new to sink my teeth into while I wait for crowfall

thanks

The combat system is a lot of fun and with a lot of nuance.

In other areas it can be sort of lacking, smelling like budget constraints.
But KT says its one of their most successful titles ever (months before the PC release) and that they are making it into a franchise so hopefully they'll have the budget to address these issues in a sequel.

Is Heavy armor worth it in this game

Post William.

Yes it is. So is blocking. Buffs are all good. Debuffs are also good and work on most everything.

What kind of sequels could they possibly make? Nioh takes place at the very end of the Sengoku Jidai there isnt shit to do in japan for the next 200 years

Makes attacking and dodging cost more stamina, also dodging is slower.
But your blocking gets very strong and you get hyper armor/poise.

There are also skills and weapon effects that benefit from being heavy.

Kill more black masked men at night during tournament botch end.

Yes. Depends on how you want to play though. Personally I found it a bit easier despite the stamina drain compared to lighter armor.

So if I refashionin my armor, it doesn't show up for people I co op or PvP with?
Cuz in that case I look to shit like everyone. Still on NG so I'm wearing really mixed up sets and switch up armor pieces like every mission, without refashion I'd look like a ridiculous clown

They'll probably make something up. After all Maria is still on the loose.

Is there a hyper armor poise stat on armor?

Only Yasuda Fumihiko and friends know I guess.
Hopefully he remembers the most important lessons learned from Nioh 1
youtu.be/bqCSzO15VME?t=902

It does show, even transformations

Toughness is p much poise

From my experience you get hyper armor the moment you have C agility (70%-99% equip load) but someone said it depends on toughness?
I know for sure that toughness reduces how much Ki it costs to block attacks at least.

So I just beat the .. Yokai? In the cave thing after dying at least 10 times to those cyclops things, and other shitfuckery things.

I am horrible at Dark Souls like games, truth be told, but I'm finding when I beat bosses or get past things that I recently died at pretty rewarding.

I'm not sure what Ninjutsu or anything like that does, or how I can use it to my advantage.

I use Mid Stance/High Stance mostly.

I'm a bit ashamed that I pirated, but I know if I was online, I'd get my ass handed to me in PvP.

ninja stars are super useful for hitting weak points/interrupting even if you're not a ninja focused build

Shut the fuck up and get the fuck out of here

Fuku is too goddamn sexy.

I thought ninja stars are just for Shortcuts, meaning you can't really aim them?

no

She's like, a sexually available self aware naughty pritestess or something.

Sweet mother mercy.

>The way she looks at Anjin during her superior's introduction leading you to Mt Heie

its not so much for aiming precisely, its more that they're super quick.
A lot of bosses will for example jump back and charge up some attack, during this charging they're weak but actually reaching them in time can be difficult, thats where a quick ninja star does the trick.

Just finished all missions in Chugoku. Gonna head to region 3 next time I boot up the game.

That's good to know. Thank you.

Can you Soul Match past +50 or is it just drops from now on?

I wonder if they will ever put Wirriam's real life Japanese waifu in the inevitable sequel? Oyuki I think her name was. If they do I hope she's a semen demon.

Adding on top of that, should I bother with doing the dark missions on the very left of the map?

Cause I am level 23 or so, but it's stating they're 200+ and I know I'd die in one hit or something.

Oh okay, there's a setting called "show enemy Amor/transformations" that defaults to off...

Anyone figured out if it's possible to get the Nioh armor and weapons on the PC version yet? The weapons make cool as fuck refashions.

>Cause I am level 23
>but it's stating they're 200+

hmmmmmmm

William actually had two families. He had a wife and children in England before he set sail but Ieyasu forbade him from ever leaving Japan. His Japanese family was his second family. I doubt they'll include any of this in Nioh, unless we play as William's half breed kids Joseph and Susanna in Nioh 2.

You need to beat specific missions to be able to do those anyway. If the icon for it is red you can do it. Honestly if you're decent at the game you can do the high level shit even if you're kind of low. I'm not a master at the game by any means but I did the level 90 twilight mission at like level 30 when the game was in beta on PS4 for like a weekend.

But before that, it said there was a mission that was Level 30 or so, when I was level 13 ish.

So are they doable?

just cheese the first few enemies to get mission level gear.

Don't reply if you don't know the answer nigger. They're perfectly doable as long as you did whatever the prerequisite mission is.

Definitely. mission level is just a rough approximation of power. Besides, a lot of easy mooks can be killed without taking a single hit. You keep any equipment you find, so even if you find that you can't beat a boss, you can just warp out and still keep all the good shit.

What onmyo magic and ninja skills are the more helpful ones? I am starting to invest more into Onmyo.

Sloth is still pretty useful despite it getting nerfed. I never really delved too much into Ninjutsu so I'm not sure about that one.

>tfw a really hard ass boss just let me cheese him around some fucking rock
Really am not proud of that one. Should I just go back and re-fight him or something?

Someone give me a solid ninja build I can work towards. I'm level 125 atm but goddamn does it feel like I'm a fuckin' shinobi.

For sure, you dishonorabru fuck.

Are you referring to Muneshige? Don't worry about cheesing him since fighting him legit is really fucking bullshit.

git gud

>came to sidequest
>so many graves at the beggining
>me powerful "faggots died from some new weak demon"
>check the deamon , big with hot tongue
Already died 3 times.

...

>big with hot tongue

I love it, user

I got this yesterday, I have a few questions:
1) What is better, Devine item or Ethereal? When can I get those items?
2) I hear that in NG+ and NG++ the normal mod one shot you, is this true?
3) I just finished 4th bald dude boss. And get the smithing text, but I can only craft item lvl 25, can I craft higher item lvl?

Divine after you beat the last mission "Demon King Revealed", Ethereal in NG+++ Way of the Wise as a random drop, but much more common in Way of the Nioh. Ethereal is better because they can come with an extra tier of effect and Grace set skills on armor that didn't have a set before.

No it's a meme made up by people wearing the lightest armor who don't specc at all into defence.

Crafting level does scale up, it might be to do with progression.

>spend over an hour on Oda on PS4 at release
>delete him on PC on my first try
>tfw you finally got gud

the level of items you can craft is determined by the highest level mission you've completed.

that's the only time mission levels matter, though.

If you want to min/max you want to craft your stuff as divines with the STAR affix you want. Afterwards you defile them into Ethereals with the Grace you want in the abyss.

That sounds wrong because you get level 300 missions on Way of the Strong but you don't get 300 crafting until the end of WotN.
