ESEA is garbage because everyone who's smart enough to not pay for fucking nothing isn't playing there
They're literally killing the game with their league, if the entry was free like in ETF2L tons of players wouldn't quit, currently only those that fucking love the game continue to play and you see that reflected in the number of participants.

Not to mention that the whole prize pool system is a fucking joke, everyone is playing for fun anyway.
But I guess Americans like to LARP their league as a huge competition where everything is super serious for some unknown cultural reason.

because it isn't a guaranteed kill, if a soldier gets a good bomb you wouldn't be able to save yourself with an uber

The idea is that you're pressing the attack before stock would have uber anyways, so if the Soldier bombs you during this, you would have also been at 80% and been unable to save yourself regardless.

but what if you dont need to pop. you should win mid before you get uber and they could simply play back for 5 seconds until they get theirs where then kritz is effectively useless as they can flash as much as they like. also even while ubered you dont heal more, and they can simply focus fire. its more situational, and only really good if they don't know you have it

how do i stop myself from popping early or focusing one person and not often flashing during ubers

i really should've gone with the direct hit contract

pick out good uber targets, dont just pay attention to the class theyre playing
dont uber them when they need to reload (especially demo)
read the battlefield and your enemies and expect an ambush or something, this is really important for medic
push with teammates, not with one person
dont push against pyros because they can airblast your shit
