The comfyness depends on how tolerant you are of unforgiving shooters and how much you appreciate map design. I find it's comfy to anchor and once you learn the maps really well to roam and attack.

just some older games ive picked up during steam sales and never got around to focusing on. Underrail and the Metro series mainly

It's not that bad if you're willing to spend significantly more time than others who bought the regular edition to get all the base operators. In general it can be seen as a good deal, I only end up playing around 4-5 operators on each side, but for anyone who likes trying out different things and having a lot of options it can be pretty detrimental how long it'll take.

It is not that long.
I am 100 hours in, i have 8 operators and i play like 4 of them.
One of my attackers and 3 of my defenders.But most attackers don't click with me.I played IQ in the missions and Thatcher too.Did not like them.I'd go for Glaz but he gets picked 90% of the time.

I've seen enough operators getting played.The problem is not the grind.The problem is me not liking what i see.

I'd be using recruits as alternative attackers but there is no option to have a premade recruit roster to your liking.Having to choose gear every time really sucks.
