I was a bit slow on the followup but this is the Gael's into Propaned that I was talking about.
If I can get it down consistently, I'll try to see if there's a third attack to the chain.

I thought sorcerer was a decent starting class for pyro since I was going to level attunement and intelligence anyway. I aimed at witch's locks which is 17 dex requirement and sorc had higher dex too. I only needed 10 str for the longsword.

Well low level PvP is going to be harder since your spells do considerably less damage. Playing a caster a low levels is particularly challenging.

I assume you're using the witch and great swamp rings?

Not much I can suggest beyond that since I only play at SL125...

What do you find confusing?

I have 40/40/40 INT/FAI/ATT, 15 STR, 35 VIT and 20 END off the top of my head.

What's the point of spellcasting in DS3 tbqh? Unless you're going SL500 build your HP and stamina and damage will be less than noncaster, and all you have to show for it is useless shiny spells that FROM nerfed to uselessness

I have a few guesses.
He wasn't pulling (You)s like he wanted, that thirsty whore, so he moved on to other generals and tried his hand. /tekgen/ and /tesg/ were two big examples, and I know that they really raked him over the coals at the former. Don't know about the latter, though.
Also, people here and /bbg/ really began seeing him as a joke, and treating him as such. /bbg/ even had Meme Machine, when he still posted, a tripfag obsessed with BB-related memes who bullied Lucy every chance he could. Lucy got so triggered, he filtered the guy.
Everyone fully realized that Lucy was just some annoying jerkoff, and maybe he realized the same. Whichever way, he isn't here, and that's all that matters.

Have you done a proper caster? You can easily get a lot of damage by SL 120 or as soon as you softcap your casting stats of choice, all you need is the damage rings and you'll destroy PvE and do a shitload of damage on players.

You're doing it wrong.

Literally git gud. Learn his attack patterns, don't get greedy when attacking during his openings, don't use magic.

Don't chug unless he's in a long recovery animation since his AI tells him to rush you down if you so much as put your lips near that flask.
Locking off works very well since you have much more mobility that way as well as have a super fast sprint startup.

First timer playing Dark Souls I (And DS in general).
My friend helped me get a kinda overleveled character at around SL30.
Managed to help one random guy with the gargoyles, but now I'm not getting summoned and invasions fail, where should I creep around at SL30? I have enough souls to level to 40 I believe.

Do the forest if you haven't already but you have to go through the swamp eventually, ideally you should have gotten through the Depths before now and got the Large Ember so if you haven't get that and start upgrading a weapon past +5.

Sadly no. It would've been fun to use the ultra fast 2HR1 from a dagger on a weapon with over 640 AR.
I'd also like to note that he pretty much as a blind spot behind his back. It's hard to stay there if locked on, which is another reason to play unlocked. Another thing is that a lot of his moves are delayed and have lingering hitboxes so you either need to simply sprint out of the way via playing unlocked or roll at the last possible second.
This guy has base agility, so he has only five I-frames on his rolls. That might help you with the timing and spacing a bit.

Yes. You have 20/15 INT/FAI, no Sage Ring, no Witch/Great Swamp Rings, 19 ATT with expensive spells like CBV and Black Flame...

Your spells are going to hit like wet noodles. Honestly, if you want my advice, you either go full pyro or not at all. Almost all pyro spells are pure damage, there's very little utility in there so it requires a dedicated build. It's not like you just make a melee build and slap a few pyromancies on there. That just won't work. It's a waste of stats.

I'm not really an authority on low level PvP, this is just my two cents. If I were to build a low level pyro I would do it much differently.

I feel like the lower your level, the more specialised you need to be. You just won't be doing any damage with your spells on that build I guarantee it. CBV is going to cost a quarter of your FP bar and barely tickle your opponent.

You definitely don't want to be wasting points in meeting weapon reqs. A hand axe or a club is fine. You also have Black Flame for melee.

It's shit. Pyroflame in main hand, Bellvine offhand, dark longsword. Drop end to 23, drop dex to 10, lower att by 1. Put all the points you saved into int/fth. Replace Havel+3 with Witch's Ring, and Wolf+3 with Obscuring/Great Swamp Ring.

i have very little experience as a caster, my usual playstyle is stacking poise with a fast weapon and a poise weapon, and a good parry shield.

dark longsword is fine. It's a backup weapon, your main offense should be pyromancy.

How? At 135 you're cut off from the 120 crowd which is a lot of people.

Those seem really rare, I'm hesitant to use one.

The difference between 40 and 50 is 17 AR. That isn't too much but it's better than nothing.
I'd recommend only using a Brightbug whenever you get a hang of the fight and think you have a shot at winning.

Yes but there are plenty of people who play at 120 not 125 and you won't be able to invade them. That's A LOT of people that you're now cut off from because you overlevelled.

The highest you would ever want to go is 132.

Unless of course you're ganking, but at that point you might as well just go to 140 or 150.

Invasions are always different. Sometimes you'll come across good players, other times you're up against noobs. I don't think low level invasions are any different.

Don't need to invade if they come to me. And I can always place a sign for duels or invade 125s which most people are. More 125s than 120s.
