I think the idea is that there are still demon out in the world/universe so for now the demon hunters job isnt over.

The devs also stated in the Q&A that the legion isnt gone for good and demons will appear elsewhere as the game continues on.

A geared Fire mage with legendary bracers/belt/helm as well as gloves once we hit Antorus

>mobile as fuck with instant casts out of the ass without needing to turret like frost mage
>gets god tier mobility if you have belt and on execute phase
>decent single target with bracers
>can have good passive cleave while maintaining decent single target
>burst phases so not as burdened by ramp-up
>immunity + free save my ass skill in cauterize
>20% heal every 15 secs off GCD with 2 charges so good self heal without really damaging your dps

It's also pretty fun to get 7+m pyroblasts with bracers on combustion phase and watching your ignite jump to 800k. Biggest negative is that it's probably the most gear dependent out of any spec to be able to do anything decently. Enjoy hitting like a limp dick without the bracers until then.

well there's about 2 levels of gear between lfr and M0 dungeons and non-titanforged M0 and 2200+ gear
