And they're trash defense, basically only good in the set or tribridding, or if you're fighting like sand crabs or something

the best way to get past low levels is through quests, they give a lot of xp passing a lot of slow low level junk

I understand your frustration, but think of what you can do it make it easier.
Go bang out a few quests, ones that are really useful, and then try again, it'll be easier.
Tears of Guthix is kinda finnicky and can be frustrating.
Just take it easy, you'll be fine!

I just got fucked by RNG

I picked the north wall, it had virtually no blue until the second half, the east wall had one that was there the entire time but I was sticking to the "pick one wall and stay there" strat even though there were multiple chunks where the north wall had no blue whatsoever and a couple times where I was running for it and it would disappear instantly

I'm not that upset, I just figured I had it in the bag this week since I was so close last time. I'm gonna do a bunch of quests this week and see where that gets me.

why is combat so weird in this game

this nog is level 88 with his intended stats maxed
I am 79 now and will be 80 at 99 mage (+ 99 ranged)
and 89 when my HP reaches 99, even with the same level in att/def/str

it's bug abuse, the game thinks he is "new" and "high level" because he has 1def but other good cb so he is classed as "mid"

I would not call minmaxing the system bug abuse, but I still find it weird that it is designed to favour melee + ranged so much

is pilejumping still possible or did they fix it so mage+ranged has a chance at using binding spells without losing their target?
