Archery requires a lot of investment because it is the best kind of attack. If bows were as good with minimal investment as they are when fully maxed out it would be unbalanced.

I'll try another go with it then, since i keep a small army i always struggle with early enemies and find myself wasting more points on horse archery and keep playing hide and seek, defending sieges is perfectly okay tho.

Is best to solo at first of you are doing archery. Get 6 power draw and 4 horse archery killing looters and melee only deserters

i'm just about ready to throw the towel in with my shitty kingdom of portugal in 1257. it started off well. we annexed castille, parts of granada and a lot of north africa. but my retarded liege has set up his court in fucking oran (town in one of those north african meme countries, not sure which), and insists on feasting more often than harlaus, dragging all of our troops not only away from the front but off of the entire fucking continent. to make matters worse, england and france (who have been soaking up all the defectors) are both eyeballing us, france having tried to take us over once before, and the king still won't make me marshal (even though i'm fully qualified and every lord i spoke to supported my bid). sea travel was a mistake.

Help me pick a dickplomacy faction to join to be a slaver asshole.
Considerations is that the two slavers are in shariz and tihr. I plan to pick one faction to harvest peasant women from. It seems a corner faction is ideal for this and ideally one on the other side of the map. Nords might be optimal but they have one of the slavers, though hes so out of the way doing anything but joining nords is probably not useful for him. Shariz is nicely located where i could join either saranid, rhodok, or khergit and have easy access, though wars might disrupt my access on occasion.

Possible options ive considered is joining rhodok and enslaving nord women, joining vaegir and enslaving saranid women, joining sarranid or khergit and enslaving swadian women.

While enslaving swadians as rhodok is very appealing its just not so convinient since having swadia hate you while being so close to them is probably not very pelasant.

What are your thoughts on this /mbg/? I have just finished gathering all my companions and arming them and in week2 of my game, its time to get some minor faction increases and a brothel built and start filling it.

Harvesting peasants women are pretty easy since when you raid a village a group of 50 or so Refugees appear next to the village, and they have like 20 to 30 female peasants.

Wondering who to join is a combination of neat roleplaying memes (enslaving x's peasant women to service y's citizens) as well as a practical matter of map locality and ease of access. The slaver consideration is more of a convenient few K if i stumble onto a pack of looters or something while out doing other things.

If you want to do a slaver roleplay, you should pick Khergits or Sarranids. Dickplomacy also has Horse Archer AI so your Horse Archers always Cantabrian Circle around the enemy when you tell them to charge, pretty fun stuff
