Imagine if the camera rune had a sidequest tied to it like in Wind Waker, where instead of using it to create figurines to collect, you take the photos to a tailor who uses the photos to duplicate certain character's outfits for Link to wear.

Maybe not every NPC would be applicable, because that's probably more work than Nintendo would be willing to do, but every story important character would for sure be an option. Just imagine Link wearing Purah's ruffly dress, or Riju's skimpy outfit.
