I can deal with a lot of outfits but stuff like Jack's 2nd or 3rd sprite / card art really turn me off, I still use her unascended combat sprite. Revealing outfits in the vein of Ishtarin or Mordred or Ozymandias are fine, as are covering ones in the vein of Enkidu or Jeanne Alter unascended, it just as to not look completely goddamn ridiculous.

Outfit matters a lot. Every good character design needs a good outfit. There's only so much you can do with just hair color and style.

As for whether I liked covering or revealing ones, it depends on how it's handled. I generally like it when characters have visually appealing outfits, like Musashi, as just skin is boring, but I also like some revealing outfits. Then there's shit like Ushi's ""outfit"" which I hate. She doesn't even have an outfit, yet tries to put on armor. Decide one, armor or not. Don't just expose your shit looking panties and try to put on an armor, while also leaving your entire chest open. It looks uglier than a sin.
