MKB, BKB, Butterfly and Moonshard are core (disassemble MoM to finish). From there, itemize based on the enemy lineup. Daedalus if they have low armor, Diffusal+Manta if they have a lot of mana, Mjollnir or BF against illusions, etc.

That's a standard build. But what if you need a BKB/Linkens/MKB/Silver Edge etc?

Mobile carries for newbies? Ehh...I'd say AM but I'd likely be wrong since item timings are really important on him, meaning needing farm so...I dunno really. I kinda just floundered around for a while until I learned how to play my usual picks. As far as mobile in general, of varying difficulties there's Slark, Phantom Assassin, Anti Mage, technically Phantom Lancer thanks to Doppelganger and Phantom Rush, Storm Spirit and technically Pangolier cause of Swashbuckle and his ulti. I don't know any others off of the top of my head at the moment unless you count stealth as a mobility.

Is diffusal worth it late game on PL?
There are clearly better damage options but I am unsure how valuable the mana burn is.
Also it seems like th4 bonus illusions talent is a honeypot since you will struggle to get 14 out against a stunned enemy and phantom rush exists because you'd just get kited to hell if you didnt have it.

Silver Edge. PA is not a good pick against BB.

Silver Edge. Normally you don't buy Stealth on PA unless you never have someone to blink to in order to escape or a hard time initiating due to ward coverage but in this case you go Silver Edge to disable his passive cause it's cancerous. Likely go a Bloodthorn/Orchid and Diffusal too to keep him in gutting range so you can just reduce him to a pile of gore. Shit's good for attacking the enemy carry too so it does a side job and your main job at the same time.

as long as illusions manaburn i think diffusal will always be core on pl, even without level 2. late game pl will have diffusal, heart, butterfly, maybe abyssal maybe bkb maybe linkens maybe skadi maybe mkb maybe bots maybe manta
