No it isn't, still under maintenance

Beta copies all your characters from the real server from a certain point of time. They update your characters periodically, and if not, you just have to use your shitty non-updated character.

I hope they copied updated characters again for the new update when everyone can get on.

Dofus or Wakfu? Almost every class have something going on with crits.

Actually you can go with a crit build with both, masq would be the most underwhelming even though still good for PvE, Cra and rogue supposed to have like 100% crit chance anyways , Elio is like it uses crits but not too needed i guess btw im talking about wakfu if you ask for dofus shit , ignore

If you want agility you can go any of the classes. If you want crits, same. But the current cra meta is crit damage out the ass, and ecas always had good crits and will have some crit manipulation next month.

Eternal Summer chose to be on another server causing both guilds to eventually die so I don't see the point in meeting up

Best server to start fresh is Remington user (best economy, bigger population, no PK.) You could try to play Dofus if you wish as well, just remember that unlike Wakfu, is subscription based.

Is Wakfu like a f2p variant of the same game or what?
Was looking for a new MMO to sink some time into now that I finally quit FFXIV for good and was recommended to check these games out

Wakfu is the retarded little brother who wanted to overthrow his big bro but failed hard, free to play with microtransactions.
Dofus is the older brother with a lot more content and population, sub-based.
Both games are fun.

They are going to be merged and I only play Wakfu very casually

If you're looking to sink a lot of time into a MMO then Dofus on a monoaccount server is your best bet

My best advice is to watch gameplay videos for you to pick your favorite one. BE SURE TO SEE UPDATED VIDEOS. Both games have changed a lot.

In (super) short:

- Dofus is more of a classic MMO, years and years of content on it.
- Wakfu is more new, both, visually and on playstyle. Less content than Dofus, but still improving each month.

Remington is the only server anyone should ever be considering if you talk english (spanish people have Elbor.) The other 2 english options (Phaeris and Nox) will merge into Remington next year because is the bigger one.
