I haven't played since the first month of launch and I was wondering how populated is the game now? Easy to find parties for dungeons and matches for arena? Thinking about reinstalling.

It's pretty populated. It's two servers now but both are pretty full-Yura being more full than Zulia, but Zulia is where we all are.

Either server though will be no problem.
No idea about arena, but dungeons are very easy to find parties for the most part yes-so long as you know what you're doing and don't have total garbage for gear-which really only matters at the harder dungeons so.
I don't know, just reinstall and check it out I guess, up to you, etc etc

How easy is it for a new player to get geared? P2W at all?

How "hard" is the class difficulty, actually?
Just got the game and some of the coolest looking classes to play seem to have high difficulty, is it actually difficult to grasp as a beginner, or..?

Seems kinda dumb I'd play an 'easy' class just to re-do the game later to play the class I want, unless you get to switch classes later?

the class difficulty rating in the character creation screen is terribly inaccurate, most of the classes in this game are very straight forward and not difficult to play although they all have high skill ceilings, the most difficult to play classes are kung fu master, blade dancer, and warlock

If you don't like that then it's probably best to either point that out to them and see if they change their behavior toward you or just find someone else. Fuck buddies are fun, but not usually when that's literally all it's about

They're constantly making 'catch-up' gearing easier, in fact yet another gear cost reduction is on its way. It's relatively easy to get a decent gear. However, that's when you hit a brick wall. Upgrade costs quadruple just like that once you reach a certain point in gear. Plus most of your endgame Best in Slot gear is locked behind weekly lockouts.
B&S isn't exactly P2W by definition, but spending money during certain events really does speed up the gearing process.
