had this issue with a 1.10 pack, had to close literally everything besides multimc + the game because it used 5 GB from the getgo and more every few minutes

now playing age of engineering 1.10 and it only uses 3-3.5 GB

Decided to change the hydrothermal vent to use abyssal stone as well, both in recipe and in texture. My shincolle no longer requires obsidian for its infrastructure- you wanna be an abyssal admiral, you gotta actually get some stone from the bottom of the ocean (or get lucky with endgame IE machines but I won't judge)

Sure. Zip file is the resource pack, script is for recipe changing with minetweaker. Requires railcraft for the abyssal stone, and immersive engineering for the mineral deposit it adds- though you could just comment that bit out.

You have to recreate the paths in a folder in resourcepacks, use the same file name

What's a texture pack with decent-looking hardened clay? I only just noticed that Unity fucks a bit wit the colors of those blocks, so RTG mountains end up looking rather wonky.

Does the worldgen config for the Quark Realistic setting just not do anything? I tried disabling lava lakes but they still spawn, turning on lava ocean doesn't do anything either.

What are some other worldgen mods besides RTG or even just interesting custom settings? I've considered doing something stupid like disabling vanilla/normal biomes and making a world out of magic ones

So I have enderIO installed as a tech mod but what other tech mods should I have? It looks like I need a tech mod with generators to power all this shit and I have refined storage installed too.

The only tech mod i've used before was IC2, so Id like something that isnt super tedious to do

Immersive Engineering and Immersive Petroleum. They're much better than EnderIO, except for EIO's conduits which are great but MAWPC depending on who you ask.

I think EIO has some shitty coalgen unless it was removed on newer versions.
Immersive Engineering has some passive power that'll easily support most of Refined Storage without automating a fuel supply.
