The fat piece of plastic of the end of the mag is a mag extension. Yes, it's real.

Secure area is pure TDM.

Depending on hostage location and how hard the enemy team is roaming you can potentially just go for hostage, it's something to evaluate on a case by case basis. Ideally you have operators with smokes / area denial like Ying/Capitao to cut off the operators from getting line of sight / back into the objective room so you can grab the hostage.

I try to get the hostage because it's usually an easy win if you get there. Ying's my preferred operator for this reason, just throw a couple smokes, two candelas, and another candela on your feet after grabbing the hostage. Defenders are usually pretty cautious to fire wildly into the smoke if they're not blind.

I get that but look at pic related. that blue extension takes the factory magazine and adds 20 more rounds so that makes 41. in game has 51. the mag she puts in would have to be the size of a fucking boomerang

Here's the Scorpion in Siege. Notice here, the magazine itself ends before it crosses the parallel with the bottom of the grip. In your picture, the magazine goes past the end of the grip, before the extender starts. Your picture has the 30 round mag + 20 extender, while in Siege it's modeled with a 20 round mag + 20 extender (the 10 round mag is much shorter and has no curve to it). So, they tried to make the 50 round capacity authentic, but messed up on the details.

every one is getting the new ops the same day now
all youd be paying for is the season pass exclusive uniforms for blood orchid and white noise
youd effectively be paying 20 bucks to unlock 2 operators insted of grinding for them

I'm pretty certain the Legacy Bundle for the year 1 ops was $20. If you're already willing to spend that much money, may as well buy the season pass now to get them earlier, on top of the extra things it comes with.
