The idea that it was Mashu only class has never been the case, Achilles has already been confirmed to fit into that class. It doesn't take away from Mashu either if there are others. She's still probably the best one with a solid niche, its hard to really beat that. She still doesn't take up room on teams either, which is solid. Adding more Shielders won't hurt her in any way.

Because you don't understand anything about Shirou in that route. All he wants is to save everyone, he's pretty mental about it really. He can't let anyone die in front of him, even if he has to kill himself to prevent it.

There's a reason Shirou is, to this day, one of the mostly widely hated main characters of all time. He is fucking dumb in Fate. He has seen some redemption and acceptance in recent years with ufotable adaptations and Prillya, but his stupidity in Fate has forever tarnished his reputation.

Kotomine basically says "Don't come here again, only come here if you give up." and in other routes Shirou basically agrees, but in HF Shirou is like "Fuck you, I'll keep coming here" and Kotomine just kinda shrugs it off saying he won't stop it.

Shirou gets the feeling that staying there is pretty suicidal. Kotomine doesn't play by the rules, he literally involves himself in the contest. He will kill you on a whim at times. Or he might just have a twenty minute discussion about abortion with you.
