ki-44-ii is undertiered as fuck, it has the performance of an at least 4.0 plane. plus the ki-43 turns much better.

What am I doing wrong? I am playing ground forces for the first time and I have only been able to unlock 2 tier I tanks in the American tree in nearly two weeks of gameplay. I know my games aren't stellar, but I feel that I am a little bit above average and yet I feel like I get so little RP. I have been playing Arcade battles because someone told me that they end up with better RP gain since you can crank them out faster. This just seems absolutely awful though; at this rate I can't see how anyone is supposed to ever get to tier V shit in more than one tree. I know premium would help but it just seems like an incredibly bad business decision to force premium so early in the game. Should I be playing realistic battles? Is there a guide to researching more efficiently? This is also the first time that I have played WT in several years but it just seems so different from aircraft; I remember being able to get to tier II within a week and a half of gameplay and still have fun throughout.

When was your last rainy/night/foggy tank battle
I my only night tank battle was on the day jap tanks dropped.
I can remember two rainy battles but can't place them in time.
I'm not 100% sure foggy battles are actually a thing.

Looking at planes such as the Stuka that can hold only a single bomb before being forced to go back to base, it makes me wonder, what the fuck was the point of having them prior to tanks? I know that tanks was planned since the beginning.
The Stuka can't take out a whole base bomber target by itself with a single 1000kg, and it probably wouldn't kill many ground vehicles.
